New Forum Update

I found the trouble I was having with getting the new forum set
up like I wanted. The version of the phpBB software that was
available for easy setup on my host site is NOT the same one i
thought I was using, which also meant I was using the wrong
folders when attempting to upload things.
At this point, I'm trying to clear all the junk away, but I'm
having trouble with removing them. Because of that, I'm trying
to find an easy work around, so I can reload the software I want
to use. Once that's done, I hope and expect things to go pretty
easily.

I have spent today trying to get a new forum ready to go on my
forum. I still can't manage it, largely because I'm not
familiar enough with all this to do it myself, and Dreamhost
only offers an older version, which doesn't seem to work with
the upgrades.
There are a number of things going on just now, but I hope/plan
to have more free time to work on things this month - especially
after Thanksgiving.
At this point, this place seems to be working out fine. I would
be more comfortable staying here a few more weeks, while I
continue to play around with the new forum. If anyone thinks
that's not a great idea, we could conceivably move into the new
forum at once. I'd be interested to hear people's thoughts on
the issue.

In your time, at your own pace.
I tend to think of this site as a perfectly adequate pre-fab
which can serve for at long as possible until the self-build of
the new Bransom forum is completed.
