Spring '19 Spanking Report

I think part of the reason there's not much going on to report
these days is that Barry, Johnny, Josh, and Bryce grew up as a
group, and Noah fit right in there with them. None of them were
bad kids, but they were a challenge, and they had a fairly big
group of friends their same ages that kept things lively.
Today, there are only two very young ones, Jake is 12, and the
next youngest is Kenny, who's already 14, and pretty well
behaved.
Which doesn't mean nothing ever happens.
This has been a couple of weeks ago now - probably the night of
the 18th or 19th. Most of the grands were staying over. It
probably was the 18th, because they'd had school that day, and
we had a four day weekend then for Easter.
Anyway, the youngest boys were supposed to be getting ready for
bed, and I was going to let them stay up and watch TV for a
while, after they were ready. It was Paden - 8, Ryder - 7 (8 in
about two weeks), Curtis - 8, and my youngest grand nephew,
Ollie - 7 (8 this week). Well, while we'd already negotiated
baths and pajamas, then movies and snacks, they started whining
and dragging their feet when time actually came. Finally, after
several warnings, I marched all four of them to my bedroom,
stripped them, started filling the tub (large enough for two
adults easily), then grabbed them, one by one, by the left arm
and gave those little bottoms several firm smacks. It was
enough to get some tears flowing and a lot of sobs and yelps,
but not quite enough to get them really crying hard.
I made the offer of actual, over the knee spankings for anyone
who wanted to continue their disobedience, but they were feeling
much more compliant by then, and they were all in the tub before
I could even finish suggesting more spanks.

Oh to be young...I remember all kinds of stalling tactics back
in the day, and see the same in my niece, nephew and friends
with young kids. I think those held-by-the-hand-while-standing
spanks are the perfect reminder you mean business. Hope they
were well behaved in the bathtub and during the movie after!
As an aside how many of us wore actual pajamas as young kids? I
always thought people slept in underwear until I went to my
first sleepover.

AH! Four boys in a tub. Rub A Dub Dub! The best way to take a
bath. I have a set of twin brother three years younger than me.
As boys we took tub bathes together. Lots of fun. We could
sure get a bathroom floor wet.

I slept in Pajamas until I started school. Then I slept in
Underwear (White Briefs) until Junior High School. Then slept n
u d e from then on.

I wore "actual pajamas" until I went off to college and lived in
the dorm. Then my roommate and I decided we didn't need
pajamas, or underwear, or anything else. :D
So how did that sleepover work out, with you in undies and
everyone else in PJs? Were you self-conscious?

I slept in pajamas until I was about 12-ish. I remember wearing
them sometimes in sixth grade, but also sometimes wearing gym
shorts or just briefs. A lot of that had more to do with me
being shy, and wanting something to wear outside of bed.
As for my kids, they all have pajamas to wear during the winter,
though many of them will wear them around the house as
comfortable lounge clothes, but not actually in bed. Mickey
always slept nude, and Kenny loves sleeping in a big t-shirt and
nothing else, but most of us sleep in underpants - some only,
and some with tees.

I just waited in my clothes as long as possible. But it was
apparent to my friends that I didn't have anything to sleep in.
The host kid loaned me some gym shorts to put on.
When I got home I asked my mom why I didn't have any sleepwear.
She replied that I didn't need any and it would just create
extra washing.
After that experience I always packed an extra pair of shorts on
sleepovers. And I noticed that some others did the same. Nobody
wanted to be seen in underwear, until boxers came out in my
early teens.
