Maybe you might want to add this fix;
"This application has failed to start because d3dx9_37.dll was
not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."
HOW TO FIX THIS PROBLEM:
1) Change your subsystem from Direct3D9 to OpenGL. If openGL
lags for you, change colour depth to the lowiest and dont run IT
fullscreen.
2) reinstall?
3) Still no dice? PM myself and i'll try to help.

of them where you open a file and add a # in front of the
DirectX in a word file.. I keep forgetting the file though. :X

Not sure I've heard that one before.
Can you retrieve what the message says? Or what file you need to
add the # to? c:

Not exactly sure what the file is. I know that Flametail knows,
he helped me with my ogre. I have old screenshots of the OGRE
from IW when I tried it out.. the files are pretty much the same
(other then the server!)

EDIT: Found it! The file is plugins.cfg. Next to
Plugin=RenderSystem_Direct3D9
you need to add a #. You should have
"#Plugin=RenderSystem_Direct3D9". It's always worked for me! C:

I dont have OpenGL where can i get it?
