       Contrasting Lines

       [size=12pt]I've used PSP9 for this tutorial, however you should
       be able to create this tag in all versions.
       Supplies needed:
       A tube of choice.  I'm using one by Charlotte Thomson

       which is available from TPP

       .
       Please do not use the same tube without the appropriate license.
       Font of choice.  I've used PoodlePusherNF.
       Plugins:
       Muras Meister - Copies
       Alienskin Xenofex 2 - Constellation
       Eye Candy 5: Impact - Gradient Glow (optional)
       1.  Open a new transparent image 600 x 250 pixels
       2.  Paste your tube as a new layer.
       Apply Muras Meister - Copies using the Wallpaper (Rotate)
       default settings.
       3.  Apply Adjust - Blur - Motion Blur with the following
       settings:

       4.  Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance.
       Apply Effects - Distortion Effects - Wave with the following
       settings:

       5.  If you haven't used a Black and White tube, go to Adjust -
       Hue and Saturation - Colourise with settings of 0, 0.
       If your wave effect isn't well defined, go to Effects - Edge
       Effects - Enhance again (I didn't on my first example, but I
       have on my second)
       6.  Select your Preset Shape tool and set it to Rectangle.
       Select a contrasting colour from your tube (I selected a random
       colour for my first example) and set it as your background.
       Draw out a thin Rectangle across your canvas, overhanging the
       edges slightly, as you can see in my screenshot:

       When you're happy with the thickness, convert it to Raster
       layer.
       7.  Still on your Rectangle layer, go to Image - Rotate - Free
       Rotate with the following settings:

       8.  Again on your Rectangle layer, apply Muras Meister - Copies,
       this time using the Line preset with the default settings.
       Change the Blend Mode to Overlay, or one that suits your tag
       (I've used Screen on my second example).
       9.  On your Line layer, apply Alienskin Xenofex 2 -
       Constellation with the following settings:

       10.  Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.  Move it into
       position, resizing if necessary and add a drop shadow of choice.
       11.  Crop your canvas to 600 x 250 pixels.
       Add a new raster layer and flood fill it with the same colour
       you used for the rectangle.
       Selections - Select All.  Selections - Modify - Contract by 3.
       Press delete on your keyboard.
       Selections - Select None.
       12.   Add your name, copyright and license number (if
       necessary).
       I also added a Gradient Glow and drop shadow to my name.
       And you’re done :)
