[size=12pt]I've used PSP9 for this tutorial, however you should
be able to create this tag in all versions.
I am assuming you have some knowledge of how PSP works,
including applying masks.
Supplies needed:
A tube of choice. I'm using a sitting tube by Jonathon Earl
Bowser
HTML http://www.jonathonart.com
, available from CDO
HTML http://www.cdoestore.com
.
Please do not use the same tube without the appropriate license.
Scrap kit of choice. I'm using a PTU kit, Simply Teal by
Ladyhawwk Designs
HTML http://ladyhawwkdesigns.blogspot.com.au/,
which is also
available from CDO
HTML http://www.cdoestore.com
.
Font of choice. I've used Jellyka Delicious Cake.
Mask of choice. I've used TreseMasks0029 by Trese Tags & Tuts
HTML http://www.tresepsptags.blogspot.com.au
Plugin: Eye Candy Impact - Gradient Glow (optional)
I've written this so you can twist your result to suit your tube
and scrapkit choice - Hope you enjoy it.
I have resized pretty much all the elements to suit my tag -
please do the same as necessary
1. Open a new image 600x600 pixels.
2. Copy and paste an element of choice for your tube to sit on.
I chose Element28 from my kit.
3. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer and resize it to
suit. Move it into position on top of your earlier element.
Add a drop shadow of choice.
5. Add any elements you like around your tag. Add drop shadows
as required.
I've used Element80, Element11 and Element54 in my example.
6. Select a paper from your kit - I've used Paper 14. Copy and
paste as a new layer and move it below your frame.
Apply mask of choice to this layer and merge group.
7. Crop your tag and resize if necessary.
8. Add your name, using a font of choice. Add a Gradient Glow
(if required) and drop shadow.
9. Add the appropriate copyright and license number if
necessary. I've also credited the scrapkit maker.
And you're done :)
