and ah Stanz that's awful about being sick, sounds woeful and I
hope you're better soon.
I was intensely sick with mono for a couple of months earlier
this year and I was just worn down by it; had to quit my job,
defer exams, and I still don't have the same energy levels I
used to. I was told it just takes away a year from your life -
even after all the flus and rashes and stuff the exhaustion
stays behind. :-\
In happier news, I live in the Netherlands now for college. I've
been here for a week and have done nothing but orientation so I
don't really know anyone just yet, I really miss my friends, and
my classes don't start for another week, but it's exciting
times. Only my apartment has a ceiling that's falling apart and
my fridge doesn't work. My landlord promised to get them fixed
by last Wednesday. >:(
JUVS all that acting stuff sounds awesome - I have a few friends
who do drama and I've always been envious of the things they get
to do... although none of them have done burlesque just yet. :D
I do miss the old days of this place, and I know the Facebook
group isn't really the perfect replacement, but I do wonder as
well if people even use forums anymore? They seem to have just
been replaced by blanket social media and reddit, which is a
shame. :(

oh wow mono sounds intense David!
Hopefully your landlord will do something about all those
things! Semester abroad is one of the coolest things! If it's
anything like my experience it should be one of the best moments
of your life :)

Woo hoo, David! Yay for studying abroad! I wish I did something
like that...although, going to school in South Carolina (leaving
Hawaii), is I guess sort of like that? Eh. Also, I've never had
mono, but I do hear it's like that.
The burlesque thing is quite new for me...just a school
fundraiser show for the fall production. It's pretty cool, the
people are awesome, and all in all, it's a kind of life-changing
thing, confidence-wise. :)
...and I have not heard from Tom!

I have no idea what happened to Tom. He kinda went AWOL shortly
before the forum finally collapsed. Did anyone have his email or
anything? I can't even remember his last name so I can't find
him on Facebook (spoiler alert: there are a LOT of people in the
world called Tom)

...I think his last name is Ross? I couldn't remember it at
first, but it just randomly came to mind just now.
I think he had a website geared up with tutorials, web design
and all that.
