uniformitarian sends diplomat to DEN

The crown prince James has been sent to den via a refurbished
G-2 bomber and a squadron of G-41 interceptors. He has been sent
to speak in his father's name and has a security team of 12
Honor Guards, all in Talos armor, and armed with the latest
Uniformitarian rifles. "This is Uniformitarian-1 requesting
permission to land with escort."

"Uniformitarian-1, this is Hochburg ground control. You are
cleared to land on runway 5. Proceed to hanger 11. Enjoy your
stay!" The ground control ordered after seeing the plane on
radar. Two Darts and four Racers were sent to escort it; the
Dart to intercept if an enemy, and the Racers as escort.

The bomber was met by the racers and darts and banked right
toward hangar 11 on runway 5. The plane lowered in altitude
along with the interceptors until they landed smoothly in the
hangar. Out came Prince James, flanked by his personal guard.
"Where can my interceptor pilots stay while they are here?

The plane was immediately surrounded by military personnel after
being moved to the hanger, with multiple armored cars. It was
simply to deter idiocy on any man's part, as well as to provide
an escort for the leader that visited. There were ground crews
everywhere, refueling the plane or taxiing the other planes off.
In response to their question, a Grand Warlord, GW Castro,
answered. "They can stay at a hotel we have paid for. Come. We
must go for the Stronghold. Maximus is out, but Vladimir
remains. He is waiting."

"Yes, let us go." They got in an armored escort and headed
toward the stronghold, knowing that tensions were high in the
newly formed IUS, and they had to do their best to keep their
composure. They arrived in front of a fortified palace, and what
seemed to be highly trained guards everywhere.

The armored convoy soon approached the stronghold, and the doors
opened before them, the large and grand stone and metal carved
slabs moving gently open, and a portcullis and other precautions
raising or dropping, depending on their position. And standing
before them, dressed in full ceremonial clothing, was the 1st
Battallion of the 1st Division, 1st Army, Group A: the veterans.
They wore their trench coats, officer caps, Veteran caps, and
the color guard wore the white camouflaged berets, with the
Veteran Laurel on the front in gold. Sometimes, these soldiers
were known as the White Scars, as they wore white armor and
camouflage many times, with red piping usually. That's how they
were known.
Now, they were wearing white trench coats, with red piping all
around, the laurels visible on every place they were allowed to
be. Beneath that white trench coat was a white armor suit, with
greyish fatigues underneath, swords at their hips, and a
decorated rifle at their side. The decorated rifles at their
sides, in this case, were the AS-5s, and they had incredibly
painstaking decorations on them, and the names of their owners
engraved.
With every company was a company standard, as well as the DEN
colors, flying high in the banner. And the honor guard? They
were a seperate group, and they wore black and gold armor,
symbolizing the SS divisions. They had their large rifles at
their sides, and their swords drawn, their black berets visible.
"Welcome to Hochburg, my friend. Vladimir is right in the Honour
Guard."

The prince was aghast at the incredible poise of the Honor
Guard. "My God, if we had soldiers that decorated and
disciplined, we would be a much finer fighting force." He then
saw Vladimir, and called out to him. "Vladimir Lenin, I am Crown
Prince James Edwards of Uniformitarian, and I am pleased to be
here in this magnificent fortress. May its walls never fall. I
bring greetings from my father, king Harrion."

"Welcome, Prince James. If my intelligence committees serve me
well... You are the prince of possibly the biggest, if not
second biggest, nation in the IUS. I couldn't possibly wast your
time with pleasantries and politeness; it's not my nature.
Maximus would, though. I can only say that we are glad you are
here. Come. We have much to talk about." Vladimir said, showing
the way to the palace doors. Vladimir was cold and thoughtful.
He never really cared much for politeness, and when he spoke, he
did so with a heavy accent.

He was guided inside the hallways and maze of stairwells, ,
until they came to a conference room, where they were all
seated. "So I hear that tensions between our nations are high.
Why is this?"

"High tensions? Prince, you haven't seen high tensions from us.
If you did, do you think my ceremonial soldiers would be out
there wearing ceremonial clothing? Do you think I wouldn't have
snipers pointing at you right now, and that I was hiding a .44
in my chest pocket?" Vladimir asked, and reached into his
pocket, pulling out a 9mm, then pocketed it again. He grinned,
his right lips curling up. "It's only a 9mm. You're not much of
a threat. Regardless, I find our nations as friendly frozen
neighbors, if anything. You?"
