The sonar on the Crusader class attack submarine blipped, but
had a clear reading. "Remember, the strategy was that moving out
of port would cause them to move with us, like reeling in a
fish, the captain said. " Yes sir!!" The crew responded in
unison. All of the sudden faint blips began to appear on the
sonar screen, crimson as blood. The private's eyes lit up and
his expression changed from neutral to fear. "Sir, we got
readings, but faint ones!" "I don't care, fire!" The torpedo
tubes flooded with water, and out rushed the MK-48 torpedoes,
each one heading for an unknown target. "Get us out of here, and
tell the boats to drop those depth charges!" The boats received
the transmission and dropped the mines/depth charges into the
water, and the fleet was ordered to pull back.
Meanwhile, in Uniformitarian, all air wings and AWACS have been
placed on high alert and to be ready for air combat all times.
Most land fortifications have now been completed, and it is the
calm before the storm. SAMs and AA batteries are also at the
       ready.

"Incoming torpedoes! We've got bogies in the water! Bogies in
the water!" The private shouted from edge radar, the room red as
blood. So far they maintained silence for fear of being picked
up by sonar or radar. Now they were focused on getting away.
Instantly, the pilot did an amazing maneuver. Like a plane, the
sub turned to the side and pulled up, doing a barrel roll. It
zoomed away as fast as it could go, and for most of them, it was
enough. Two were caught in the depth charges, the explosion
rupturing it's bridge and sending the sub to the depths.
But for the others... They sank to the bottom. Willingly. Not in
a fatal way, either. They had dived below the torpedoes and
depth charges, some damaged and shaken, but most fine. Now it
was their turn to fight back. Targeting both the sea targets and
land targets, they prepped their cruise missiles, and their
       torpedoes.
These torpedoes were special, in that they moved at the speed of
sound. The water's speed of sound, which was much more than
air's. They also were ACTIVE torpedoes, meaning they would track
their target. Launching these MK-3s, they targeted the ship's
under bellies. Twelve torpedoes were launched, and that's when
       more confusion happened.
The non carrier subs launched cruise missiles at land targets,
most of them being airports and SAM batteries. But they also
targeted the AWACS, sending nearly half of all their missiles
into the air. The result? A surprise launch of dozens of heat
       signatures that rendered infrared impossible.

The ships shook as they were hit by torpedoes, and 2 destroyers
began to sink. Some of the submarines had launched 10 more
torpedoes to intercept these strange torpedoes, and there were
large explosions in the water as the missiles collided.
Unfortunately, on submarine was caught in the crossfire and sank
       to the depths.
       *****
The AWACS picked up the incoming cruise missiles and notified
the SAM systems to intercept immediately. The Buk missiles rang
off the battery and soared through the air towards their
targets. The Zion-5 ABMs were also notified of the incoming
missiles and some were launched as well to intercept. A few
malfunctioning Sam batteries were hit, costing Uniformitarian
valuable assets. The Nuuk international airport was hit by two
cruise missiles, one in the terminals, and one in the runway,
hitting a Boeing 787, causing 315 people to loose their lives
instantly. Uniformitarian satellites are being moved into
position to aid in the AWACs and radar detection systems.
A squadron of G-2 bombers is being prepped, along with a FC-33
Wraith escort and a few G-16s to make a bombing run. Wings up at
       05:00.

OOC: A ship hit by a torpedo will start to sink. There is no
stopping that. All ships of yours hit by a torpedo will be
damaged that badly. Not to mention that these cruise missiles
would damage a LOT MORE than two ships. I also targeted MILITARY
airport targets. Specifically the planes and some runway.

Except for the fact that some of my missiles intercepted yours,
and and the fleet was retreating. Not to mention that the water
was littered with mines and depth charges, therefore making it
even more difficult to hit my ships. Now as to what you did
with the airports, I will gladly edit that.
