It was a cold, dreary, early September day as the Alabama's
battle group continued along its first patrol. Commodore Robert
C. Lee, great great grandson of the Civil War hero lay in his
bunk, itching for action. Just as he was about to drift off he
got his wish. The klaxon started sounding general quarters and
he was summoned to the bridge of the Alabama.
When he got to the bridge Commodore Lee headed over to the radar
operator and asked, "What have we got?" "Two fleets sir", the
operator began to report,"LAMPS says they are DEN and
Uniformitarian. The Unis seem to have taken a lot of damage, as
one would expect." Lee began to bark orders, "Have all vessels
ready their SAMs and point defense systems, bring one of the
Strike Missile boxs online." Pointing towards the remains of the
Uni fleet he said, "That must be a carrier, target it."
Four missiles launched from the Alabama. Skimming just above the
waves they raced towards the Uniformitarian carrier.
Turning to the radio operator the Commodore said, "Contact the
DEN commander, let him know we're here."

The carrier and all its cargo, excepting 2 Wraiths that were on
patrol, was demolished. King Harrion received reports of this
and was furious. After a meeting with his council, he decided
what was best for Uniformitarian. Uniformitarian hereby secedes
from the IUS, knowing that it is weak and cannot take care of
its own. Uniformitarian is now and forever an independent and
sovereign state, assuming its own care.

The transmission went to DEN and Confederate Leaders.
"Gentlemen, we have now seceded from the IUS, giving you no
cause to continue hostilities against us. What say you?"

"The enemy has engaged with Uniformitarian, Your Majesty." a
messenger rushing in with a note in hand. The Emperor read it
with great displeasure. "And they too fall under the might of
DEN." crumpling up the paper and throwing it to the side. "Who
else stands along side the IUS? Vararath? They are also under
fire from DEN! How long until the war reaches us?" he pondered
his own question for a moment. "Send for the Minister of Foreign
Affairs, immediately!"

OOC: I'm on my phone, my internet is out, so I apologize for the
short post.
IC: Jonathan's 1st Air Platoon was called to action, the 500
planes deployed to the outermost edges of the nation, with a lot
upon the Carriers Hornet, with another 50 in the UCs. There were
three other carriers, and two assault boats, but those carried
the 2nd Air platoon, and not the first. The entire 3rd and 4th
fleet was called out, and the 5th fleet was sent towards the
Byzantine empire.
Four Mirvs were readied, and targeted the ports of
Uniformitarian and the BE, as well as their capitols. The four
Mirvs were launched, getting high into space and reaching Mach
28. Then they opened. Forty Blu-5000s were released, now sent
into the atmosphere. The massive warheads would soon collide
with at least a dozen different targets, if not more.
To Uniformitarian, forty U boats, a bit of them being U
carriers, were sent, all in secret.

Large Civilian casualties have been reported in the areas around
the ports and the Capitol of Gracegard. The King was nearly
killed and is in critical condition at one of the last working
hospitals in the city. Three MIRVs have been launched with
thermobaric warheads in them and went into the atmosphere and
then to space, reaching speeds of Mach 8. Their target:
Hochburg. King Harrion has ordered the navy to pull back and
make a more defensive line around the borders and has also
ordered the construction on fortifications in the cities and the
coast. Bunkers and trenches are being built specifically, along
with AA and Anti-ship installations.

OOC: I conversed with Uniformitarian last night, and we agreed
to have me edit his post. There was a little confusions to the
exact specifications of the weapon.
IC:
The radar picked up the enemy missile being shot off before it
even entered the atmosphere, thanks to the U Boats that were
being deployed, as well as the frequent AWACS patrols on the
borders of DEN. Immediately, the cities were notified that were
thought to be attacked, with the focus being on the palace.
Emperor Maximus and his advisors instantly began dispersing,
sent to underground bunkers deep in the ground, where most of
the military began staying, the vehicles and planes sent to huge
garages.
The SAM batteries were ready, and the 35mm FLaK CIWS was put
online, with four AWACS sent into the sky to monitor the
atmosphere around the area, their radar helping to guide the
CIWS and SAMs. All the other cities began sending their people
to underground bunkers, with their own anti missile weapons
being readied. Six Anti Ballistic Missiles were launched to
intercept the MIRVs, being the third to last defense if the FAE
didn't explode too high in the air.

In Secret
King Harrion has been moved to an undisclosed location. The
facility is underground and will have many guards surrounding
it. Construction of land defenses continues, and bunkers
trenches and city/coastal defenses are near completion, with the
gun batteries being completed as well. Uniformitarian Zumwalt
Guided Missile Destroyers have launched cruise missiles at key
ports in DEN and DEN naval fleets abroad. AWACS planes have been
placed in the air to monitor enemy activities and SAM and ABM
systems have been activated, specifically the Buk systems and
the Zion 5 ABMs.
Ooc: I'm hoping something comes out of this.

IC: The AWACS saw the cruise missile on radar, and instantly
informed the homeland of what they found. Instantly, the ships
nearest to the launched locked on with their SAMs, and fired,
simultaneously engaging the APS. The CIWS on every fortress was
engaged, while ships were sent out of port, to help their
chances of survival.
Back at DEN, twenty XB-1s and 100 Thrillers were prepped for a
bombing run against Unifomitarian, carrying their full payload
and using the Racers as fighter protection. In the sea, the
U-Boots were nearing closer to the enemy, soon to come across an
enemy ship. Or multiple ships.
