Sent to the legislative body of the IUS
AN ORDINANCE to repeal the ratification of the Charter of the
International Union of States by the Confederate States of
Redneck America, and to resume all the rights and powers granted
under said Charter.
The people of the Confederate States of Redneck America in their
ratification of the Charter of the International Union of
States, adopted by them in convention on the twenty-fifth day of
June, in the year of our Lord two thousand and twelve, having
declared that the powers granted under said Charter were derived
from the nations of the International Union of States and might
be resumed whensoever the same should be perverted to their
injury and oppression, and the Federal Government having
perverted said powers not only to the injury of the people of
the Confederate States of Redneck America, but to the oppression
of other nations:
Now, therefore, we, the people of the Confederate States of
Redneck America, do declare and ordain, That the ordinance
adopted by the people of this nation in convention on the
twenty-fifth day of June, in the year of our Lord two thousand
and twelve, whereby the Charter of the International Union of
States was ratified, and all acts of the Congress of this Nation
ratifying and adopting amendments to said Charter, are hereby
repealed and abrogated; that the union between the Nation of the
Confederate States of Redneck America and the other nations
under the Charter aforesaid is hereby dissolved, and that the
nation of the Confederate States of Redneck America is in the
full possession and exercise of all the rights of sovereignty
which belong and appertain to a free and independent nation.
And they do further declare, That said Charter of the
International Union of States is no longer binding on any of the
citizens of this Nation.
This ordinance shall take effect and be an act of this day, when
ratified by a majority of the voter of the people of this nation
cast at a poll to be taken thereon on the fourth Thursday in May
next, in pursuance of a schedule hereafter to be enacted.

America August 28, 2014.

"How Dare He!..." the Emperor was reading a report given to him
by his Military Advisor titled, DEN Declaration of War, which
included the statement from the DEN emperor himself. "That
impudent "Emperor" of DEN. He dare declare hostlilities on us?
Calistrato what do you advise?"
"We must defend the IUS at all costs, I advise a naval campaign
in the Atlantic. Order a blockade of the Straits and prevent DEN
Cargo ships from trading with Eastern and North Eastern Europe."
"And what of the Suez canal?"
The Minister looked embarrassed, he had forgotten the entrance
from the South.
"We shall block that too." He said half convinced.
The Emperor shook his head, "Calistrato what happened? Once a
brilliant strategist and General and now this..." he said with
much disgust. "You know perfectly well that we can not block the
strait or the canal as it would result in tensions between us
and all of Europe, Northern Africa, and the West Asia. Do you
think we have the manpower to resist the armies of THOSE
nations? And the Atlantic Campaign. I had spoken with the
Ministers of Finance and Shipping and they said we could only
keep it up for three years at the most. Three Years!"
He put his head down with disappointment and placed his fingers
to his temples. He then waved off the Minister of National
Defense.

"Sir, a declaration of war has been issued by DEN upon us. What
are we to do?"
"Well, I think that our issued neutrality will take care of
that. But if we must defend ourselves against DEN, we can
operate in the north Atlantic navally. I want a naval blockade
East of German SSR, fully loaded and ready. Our air wings must
also be ready to do battle. "

Shoreline
The ships already prepared began firing at the DEN forces,
while the rest scrambled to power up. In Air bases far inland,
over 100 fighter jets flew into the air and headed in three
directions, all going towards the bombers detected. The military
was on DEFCON 5, and everyone was mobilizing. Naval bases and
cities still not attack began preparations. The ships loaded up
and made fully operational while the military bases began
setting artillery, missile launchers, mines, tank spikes, etc.
Meanwhile over 10,000 soldiers were headed along the southern
route to Northern California. There they planed on meeting up
with current defenses and preparing to withstand the DEN
assault.
To: All Nations of the IUS
We are under assault from DEN. Not content with leaving, they
now appear to wish to destroy us all. I believe we must launch a
counter Attack soon. Vararath needs military support, or we will
fall. Divided we will fall one by one. United we are invincible.
To not think he will let you have neutrality. He didnt let me.

OOC: You only have 20 million people in your entire nation. You
wouldn't have 100 planes, or if you did, it's all you have. I
also just assaulted all your ships with half my entire navy.

For now the Empire has deployed defensive measures not deploying
offensive military personnel in this armed conflict, though his
loyalty remained never unwavering in the Union, he would not
risk military action from his people who are still recently
recovering from the Occupation of Istanbul (Byzantium). For now,
he has ordered the 1st Fleet, comprising of 4 Elli Class
Frigates, 2 Hydra Class Frigates, 3 FACMs, and 5 Sina Class Fast
Attack Craft, to patrol the Ionian and South Eastern
Mediterranean Sea (just south of the Ionian Sea, don't know that
actual name for that area). They are to act as a forward fleet,
protecting and warning of any incoming offensive naval action
against the Empire.

"Goddammit... Incoming missiles on radar! APS engaged!" Roberts
shouted, and flipped switches on the screen, looking at the
radar systems. Two SAMs were launched at the incoming
projectiles, gathering speed before blasting right into one of
the missiles and releasing an EMP. Any missile within range of
the EMP was instantly disabled if it didn't have an EMP
protection. Those that weren't disabled would be easily taken
down by the CIWS systems, which included a 35mm proximity blast
gun. "Fire another blast! Launch BrahMos IIs!"

"Sir... We've got 100 Bogies on the radar... Air superiority, I
think, sir, but it's all that they've got." One of the fifty C-2
Minis reported. Then the other fortynine got it on radar, too,
then the bombers. No matter. They could defend against that.
"Roger that, Red Leader. Proceed to target. Let's make sure they
don't land when they need to." The bomber leader ordered, and
then flipped a switch. He was engaging the APS systems, bringing
them online. The ones that they would most likely need would be
the AMAP systems, but that shouldn't be too bad. They continued
onwards, readying the bomb bays. Then they opened them.
"Fighters, engage targets."
"Roger that. Fighters, launch the Skystrikers!" Red leader
ordered. He flipped a switch, arming all missiles on his plane,
and disengaging the safety on his weapons systems. Then he
locked on, trying to get onto the target. Finally, he, and the
rest of the people, did. They locked on, then fired. Each one
launched a single Extreme Long Range missile at the enemy,
moving at Mach 4.1, faster than the Dart.

The Challangers and Hybrids began taking off from the Battle
Barge, carrying with them the soldiers. The hybrids carried the
Death Korps with them, and the Challangers the SS. Rogers was
among the Death Korps, watching the Challangers fly high into
the sky. He waited on the helicopters as they rushed forward,
nearing the shore. He would take the port. Of that he was sure.
Below, he saw the thousands upon thousands of landing craft, all
covered by aircraft and ships, and the battleships firing their
guns and missiles. It was a scene of true military beauty.

Two MIRVs were prepped. Each one carried ten BLU-5000s, the
deadly explosives capable of destroying everything within a
mile. These two MIRVs had their targets already pre selected:
they would strike at the military instillations, the Capitol
instillations, and Civilian targets. Targets selected, the
stealth ICBMs were launched into the sky, carrying the weapons
to orbit, where it would reach orbital speeds.

It was a peaceful day in the North Atlantic Waters. All of the
sudden, missiles came flying out of the sky towards the ships,
2 destroyers, a cruiser, and a carrier. The chain guns on the
destroyers were manned, and the missiles drew ever closer. The
chain guns fired to try and take out the missiles, but most were
ineffective. All in all, 1 destroyer and the cruiser were
immediately taken out, with the second destroyer sinking and the
surviving crew getting on life rafts and went to the carrier.
The carrier was more fortunate, have sea sparrow missiles to
defend it, though it sustained considerable damages.
Uniformitarian was now at war.
