In Secret
All the materials and vehicles in the Uniformitarian Factbook
are being researched and developed for use in the military.

A Nuclear Weapons development program has begun with the secret
mining and shipping of Uranium across Uniformitarian. Secret
underground and cordoned off research facilities have begun the
enrichment process and are creating blueprints for silos, self
propelled missiles, SLBMs, plane bombs, ships with nuclear
shelling capabilities, and ICBMs. Other raw materials needed for
the missiles are being acquired and mined as well. Shipments of
Uranium are disguised as other minerals such as coal and copper,
and are taken to the appropriate places.

In Secret
A new type of armor is being researched, with reinforced kevlar
as an exoskeleton possibility. It is nicknamed THOR armor, with
a light variant being called LOKI. Thermobaric bombs and MIRVs
are being researched, with the blast radius needing to be
somewhere around one mile. Nuclear cruise missiles are also
being looked into. Uniformitarian is wanting tracking beacons,
personal radars, and vitals readers for soldiers on the
battlefield. A self-propelled railgun is also being developed
for use against cities. Said weapon would be mounted on a large
truck. Directed energy weapons are being developed, with
dazzling lasers and free electron lasers as well. The first atom
has been split in one of the nuclear development facilities.

A hard kill system to take out any artillery is being developed.
It would be an offensive weapon mounted on a truck, with use in
sieges and ground engagements. The THOR and LOKI armors will
also have metal with the kevlar.

In real life it DID happen. The Soviets and the US both made
nukes at the same time. I have the right to reaserch what I want
as long as it isn't exactly like yours. With all due respect.
