A return to Earth?

Okay, so I have this idea of taking my nation and possibly
either Inuyashia or Vulcan back to the Milky Way, primarily as a
way to see how things have de-evolved in the dual Laptev-Barlat
Cold War, possibly explore what's left of the Systems
Commonwealth, and possibly even invoke an Intergalactic Federacy
protectorate over Earth with set conditions that would be
non-negotiable. Thoughts?

I just checked and Serdaristan IS a Barlat member. So, the order
in which the campaign will be launched....aka..war declarations
issued, would be as follows:
1)Great Houses of Xie
2)Serdaristan
3)Rhamos
4)Jovepenia
Now, in the upcoming thread, I will also have stated that at
least three Barlat nations either pushed to concede to the IGF
or declared neutrality. My choices (which are subject to change)
are:
1)Ish'Cong
2)Alexzonya
3)New Free Planets Alliance
Now, what I don't know currently, but intend to find out, is
what planets each of the four combatant nations have, in
addition to whatever Earth assets they administer. Once I can
collect whatever information I can, I will set down specific
terms. General terms that will be pushed at the peace talks will
be as follows:
1)An indemnity of I$5.5 billion Imperial Dollars (I$3.5 million
from the Great Houses, I$1.0 from Rhamos and NFPA, and I$5
million from Serdaristan)
2)The restoration of the Verulon Star Republic and evacuation of
ALL Xie forces from the system, with an additional I$2.5 million
paid to the new government
3)Systems administered by the four combatant powers to be ceded
(names and number of systems TBD) to Verulon, Vulcan, and IGF
administration. Possibility open for possible additional
cessions to Trekylon, the Namekian Empire, and Federate Cherokee
State (any cessions to Inuyashia will be up to Rebecca)
4)Earth territories administered by the four combatant powers to
be divided up for either military occupation (length of time
TBD) or directly annexed by the IGF.
5)Imposition of protectorate status over Sol system by the IGF,
with IGF bases and other assets to be established close to
Earth, near Saturn orbit, and out in the Oort Cloud.
Terms that ARE open to revision:
Item #4 - Should Ish'Cong and Alexzonya prove willing to accept
IGF protectorate, then temporary occupations of Earth
territories conquered from the combatant nations could be ceded
to either or both powers, as a means of maintaining a balance.
Otherwise, possibility open for cession of territories to
Laptev. (Interested nations will have top priority)
Terms NOT OPEN to revision:
Item#2 - Verulon was an independent system-republic before the
Great Houses seized the core system, and thus shall it return.
Possibility open for voluntary membership of Verulon Star
Republic in IGF. Plus, indemnities due the Verulon Republic are
the result of misgovernment under Xie control.
Item#1 - Because it is remembered that the Great Houses, along
with Ish'Cong and Kira's Kingdom, caused the most suffering and
damage during the Barlat Assault, and keeping in mind Kira's
Kingdom's recent switch of allegiance to Laptev Axis. Great
Houses bears the brunt of the indemnity payment. Other combatant
nations indemnities smaller. Possibility of imposition of
indemnity on Ish'Cong, determinant on their reception to the
general terms of the protectorate over Sol.
Item #3 - "Because of the mistreatment of Imperial citizens left
behind in the systems forcibly ceded to Barlat powers, it is
only right and fair that said systems are to be restored under
the rule of the Verulon Star Republic. Vulcan, if it so chooses,
may grant citizenship to those in systems ceded to them, or
allow them to immigrate to the empire proper.

I'd request a stipulation in the terms regard there FTLi tech.
This was technology they relied on to win decisively over their
enemies such as us. Not to mention no allowance of anti-FTLi
tech. Either a ban or restriction on FTLi strength including a
share of technology. Plus maybe option to make Earth a FTLi free
zone (no FLTi tech around Earth). If any further free zones
established other nations may put in a request.

We'd have to deal with the FTLi until after the war.....but
perhaps, as they didn't like the idea of an anti-FTLi system, we
could employ that...then as a condition of peace declare Sol,
Verulon, and any systems we decide to hold on to permanently as
FTLi free zones......in exchange, we would disassemble but not
eliminate our anti-FTLi systems.
