       The Dual Crowns of Lutetia was created on May 29th, 2315 (Year
       14 of Imperial Calendar) by the Proclamation of Gaia, which was
       passed with the endorsement of Emperor Drake I of the
       Intergalactic Empire of Trekylon. The land was named in honor of
       the ancient Roman name for the capital of old France, Lutetia.
       Located on the westernmost corner of Europa continent, Lutetia
       boasts wide ranging forests, plains suitable for viticulture and
       agriculture, and mineral-rich mountains.
       The government is a parliamentary monarchy with Valois Braganza,
       a descendant of the ancient houses of Bourbon, Valois, and
       Braganza. He assumed the throne with the royal name Louis IXX,
       but is also known as Louis-Valois. Formerly from the Imperial
       Military, Valois was the first of a group of Gaians whose
       ancestors could be traced back to the old dynasties that ruled
       Earth's most powerful nation-states. The government is made up
       of a National Assembly and a Senate, both with separate and yet
       shared roles in management of the nation-state. The National
       Assembly's main role is in diplomatic/military matters while the
       Senate is predominantly concerned over domestic matters such as
       education, infrastructure, and the federal budget. Even so,
       matters that concern the state are required to be voted on by
       both houses and must carry a 2/3 majority in the Assembly and
       3/5 majority in the Senate before being sent to the king, who
       has the final say. The Judicial system in the Dual Crowns
       matches that of the United States, though with the death-penalty
       being enacted more swiftly thanks to the introduction of the
       guillotine.
       *NeuFrench, NeuSpanic, and NeuDutsch are the futuristic versions
       of French, Spanish, and Dutch. Spanish and Portuguese languages
       are amalgamated into one by this time, though it remains
       uncertain how the language mergers happened.
