First attempt at cutting aluminum

I have a 4'x4' wood router table I build myself. I figured it
could handle aluminum but havn't tired it yet since I was afraid
of the mess it would make. I cut out the left and right eye vent
frame as a test. I think it turned out great ;D
I still have to cut off the tabs and clean them up. Too bad the
new files don't have the hole locations for the vent fin pivot
pins, guess I'll just have to do those manually later on.
I need to find a source for some more plate aluminum then I'll
likely cut out the head base and face plate next.
Im thinking about cutting the negative of the head shell in to
wood with the CNC, then seal it, apply a release agent, then lay
down some fiberglass. From what I have seen that seems like it
will get me close to how it was originally.
Thanks for the files! :)
*End of a long night, hope this post makes some sort of sense
:P
