remote control/computer control

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had advice on how to go
about controlling my full size J5 when the time comes. Obviously
there are a million servos, motors, actuators, etc. I was
thinking of building my own custom transmitter with as many
channels as possible. I would love to have it computer
controlled, but I'm not gonna lie, I've never done anything like
that and really don't know where I would start. The head for
example. If I were to use typical transmitters with say 5 or 6
channels, I would need at least 3 or 4. What are you all
planning on doing? Thanks in advance, any advice is greatly
appreciated.

Hi Steve
I have arranged with University of Pretoria who specialises in
research and development in technology to work on my robot. In
short, I will temporary donate my robot to them to install
software and to program him.
Now, I am avoiding artificial intelligence because I do not
believe in it because a machine will never understand humanity.
It will never experience emotions that makes us human. It will
never be able to make a judgement call. Everything it will do
will be calculated.
So, the basics will be installed. Speach recognition, voice
recognition, object recognition ect.
He has to be like a virtual pet lol. He must be able to learn
new things but with a limit. He will have a program that will
allow him for eg. to map my house as he moves about and then
store it and label each room. Then there is the issue of memory
space. He will have a hard drive to store memory but he will
also be able to store memory by wi-fi onto a server. And when
his hard drive is full he will move the information he has
learned that he uses the least to the server. And if he needs
it again he will simply retrieve it again.
I am at least hoping that in the end I will be able to have a
conversation with him, and maybe have him help me clean the
house lol.
