Three Down - Two to Go

I got home an hour earlier than anticipated. WOW! Have texted
the incoming that I am here and they can arrive any time now. I
had to tell them I would not be here before 6:30. Due to the
heat, I know WE cut 2 pieces and I think the other band
shortened their playlist.
Tomorrow, I will be picked up at Noon for Concert #4 (the second
and last of my Band in Fairmont). We will be traveling to
Morgantown to play at the Amphitheater at the Riverfront - first
time traveling for that band. Today was the second of 3 for the
Shinnston Community Band. July 20 we will do our last summer
performance - here in Shinnston at the Fire Department across
the parking lot from my B & B for the FINAL Shinnston High
School Reunion (last graduating class was 1977).
Cross fingers that tonight's incoming wants an early start in
the morning so they will be out by 11 (I am NIT going to rush
them - they can leave whenever). I also have incoming tomorrow
night. It will be a quick flip of the room after the concert
tomorrow. My energy is still sapped by that damned Fire Siren
going off yesterday at 4:10 AM and I could not get back to sleep
so I gave up and started yesterday's breakfast early.
I just made the venison sausage for Sunday - all the coffees are
roasted - so I think I will go pick blackberries - have not been
able to for 2 days now. UGH!

Well the crossed fingers did not work. Breakfast was at 10 so
they are eating now. I left the ice machine on all night to make
ice figuring they had a cooler considering my refrigerator is
currently stuffed with Maryland seafood AND some crabs -
whatever they had them in leaked into the bag which
disintegrated as I picked it up so they are in one of MY zip
bags and not stinking up the fridge.
I cheated this morning - I had some strawberry rhubarb oatmeal
muffis from a previous breakfast tht I had bagged up (thank
goodness) and they are getting them. They did get the English
Muffin bread hot from the oven.
Now to go get out of innkeeper clothes and into Convert dress
for today. I still have coffee (a thank you gift) and some
blackberries to bag up - also thank you gifts for band director
and a trumpet player who cued me for my 2 notes on the triangle
(at our dress rehearsal, I found a second DING! - at measure
134!).
