2 p.m. arrival

It's telling that about 70% of people who request early, like 2
p.m., check-in don't arrive until 5 or 6 p.m.
I think of them has high maintenance people who automatically
make special requests, whether they intend to act on them or
not.
It's very fortunate that I very rarely see my guests, because I
can't stand a lot of them. They stay, they pay, they go away,
PTL.

I have a room booked for July 13 saying they expect to arrive
around 4:30. I will be contacting them to suggest either they
come to the neighboring City at 3:00PM for a great concert or
else plan to arrive after 6:30 PM.
The Brass, Rhythm,& Sax Orchestra will perform at 3:00 PM - most
likely finishing around 4. They will have to clear away their
equipment and THEN the Shinnston Community Band will perform for
approx an hour - 90 min. I will then have to help get equipment
ready to load into the band truck, get MY crap together, find my
car and get home. In my old age, I have no problem telling guest
they either arrive early (in this case by 1:30 (sound check) or
after I can get back to the house.
Last year I had a couple arriving the night of the Christmas
Parade & Concert. Told them if they were not in town by 5:00 the
streets would be blocked for the Parade or else after the
Concert. I think thy came after the Concert. They were visiting
his parents - and his Mom now volunteers at the Food Pantry,
joined the Garden Club, AND has become a member of the Community
Garden Team! (I introduced her to things to do in town)
