Vegetarians....

I am so sick and tired of people who don't read/listen
It clearly says that we serve a VEGETARIAN breakfast. And yet, I
constantly get the word "VEGETARIAN" listed as an ALLERGY.
It's not allergy, it's a preference and all my breakfasts are
vegetarian... don't tell me you are allergic to shellfish, you
don't eat pork and I'm vegetarian. I just don't care. I don't
want to hear it.
How do you expect me to respect you, when you don't respect me
enough to actually read what we say?

I have a family (parents and 2 kids) who have stayed with me
about 5 times. Every time they make a reservation, the mother
writes a long narrative about how they are allergic to smells,
and please do not use any scented laundry or air freshening
products. She always mentions that we've done this for them in
the past and things have gone well.
I don't do one thing different for them!
I've always provided unscented hand soap and use the "free"
hypoallergenic laundry pods that contain no dyes and perfumes.
The only scented product I use is Gain Original Fabric Softener
for the towels, because Generic taught us years ago that it's
the only fabric softener that won't make the towels much less
absorbent over time.
I also ignore requests on the reservation for extra pillows. My
beds already have 4 king size pillows, of varying thicknesses
and firmness, on them. That's enough for anybody!
