Apparently there are other Bed & Breakfasts

Apparently there are other Bed & Breakfasts in my region.
Someone nominated Gillum House Bed & Breakfast for best Bed &
Breakfast in Mountaineer Country. I was shocked to see 4 others
in the category. So I looked them up. I knew about 2 of them BUT
neither of them is in my region - one plus 1 other I was not
aware of are BOTH in the Eastern Panhandle Region - at least a
2-hour drive from the easternmost part of Mountaineer Country.
The other one I was aware of (I actually did an inspection of it
years ago for the B & B Association) is in the Greenbrier
Region, a good 2-hour drive from me. The only one in my region
is a Guesthouse - says nothing about breakfast - does have a
restaurant associated with it, they mention dinners AND have a
cleaning fee listed for a monthly rental. Interesting.
Gillum House Bed & Breakfast has been nominated for Best Bed &
Breakfast in Mountaineer Country.

I doubt it. Two of them are in larger demographic areas and
larger inns. Most people will have no idea WHERE Mountaineer
Country is. I really do not care about the win or lose part.
Just a bit aggro that it is not what it is purported to be. I
had no idea I had ben nominated - and then came the "offers" to
increase my vote getting with purchases of ad packages. The
cheap package was $100 - it did not appear that many fell for
the ad package. I did not because I knew there were no other B &
Bs in the region - the guesthouse was a surprise.

Remember that after you vote for Gillum, you have to also click
