They just left. Pulled off slipcovers to see what's underneath,
went through drawers, asked us questions about private parts of
the building, including our quarters. UGH!

I have a dead sofa bed. After a couple of years of use, enough
bolts and springs fell out to make it almost impossible to fold
back up once it's opened, so I retired it. It's just a sofa now.
But people still would remove the cushions and try to open it.
It takes a hammer and a lot of muscle to re-close it. So I taped
a note under the cushions saying: The sofa bed is broken. If you
try to open it, there will be a $50 charge for us to re-close
it.
Never had to deal with it again. So you might have some fun
putting notes under those furniture covers and other places nosy
*uckers like to snoop!

I read this as "noisy *uckers" and came to read the story!
Haha.
As for nosy...I once had a lady casually tell me that if there
was time, she would like to see my apartment.
I was flabbergasted!

I guess I'm doomed to be the odd one, couldn't tell you how many
guests have visited our living area, my workshop, my garage, for
me it's about enjoying the people.

I put notes in decorative boxes that say You snooped! So glad
you did. While you are here would you make some suggestions
about things to do and your favorite restaurants so other snoops
will have something to read? :D
