We have a solar eclipse coming up in April and our town is
within the "total darkness for 4+ minutes zone," so all my rooms
have been booked for months for the dates around the eclipse.
At first I upped the rates 50% for the days around the eclipse,
but as the date drew closer I upped the unsold rooms to double
the normal rate, and they all booked.
A couple of weeks ago I had one of the rooms cancel a 4-night
reservation. I didn't worry about it because they had booked it
at the 50% increase rate, and I knew I could rent it before
April at the double rate.
But I forgot something! This morning I woke up and someone
booked the room on Air at REGULAR RATE and for just the night
before the eclipse!! I totally forgot about Air because I get so
few reservations through them. So I hadn't blocked off those
dates on the Air calendar.
:(
I considered cancelling the reservation and absorbing the $50
cancellation penalty they assess for that, but I decided I need
to leave things as are, as punishment for my own stupidity!

We are connected to Air via API, they get the rates and
availability that are the same for everyone
