JimBoone has been in hospital

Just letting everyone know - JimBoone has been in the hospital.
He is getting better - do not know the problem - but thought you
folks should know.

Thank you, friends, for your interest.
The big picture, I'm told that I need an Aortic heart valve
replacement. The original doesn't function well, and I get tired
and out of breath much too quickly. If all goes well this should
happen in early November. I think they call the procedure TAVI
and do this through a vein, I hope it is as simple as they make
it sound. This should take place in Charlotte.
The current, local hospital visit. I woke up on Friday 13th
[yea] back hurting and no energy. Waited till Monday to call
doctor to find they were not available so Michelle too me to
emergency room. Thought seemed to be that it was some pneumonia
and a kidney issue. Put a shunt in a kidney, still have to have
the shunt and a stone removed. Came home Friday 20th, don't
exactly feel bad, just drained.

His family posted that surgery went well and he was still
sleeping. They expected to see him in a few hours.

In Jim's own words posted on FB:
Well made it this far. Michelle sprung me from the hospital
about 1:30, slow trip back to Drury Inn for the night as had to
stop and charge the car. So far everything seems to have gone
well. A little rest and get back to living. Thank you for your
prayers and positive thoughts.

Good morning, friends, and thank you for caring, means a lot to
me.
The TAVI surgery to replace the valve seemed as simple as they
said, no scars to show, everything done through a vein, a
Band-Aid on each leg where the leg attaches to the body, so far
nothing really hurts. Now I'm still waiting on that energy I
thought I was supposed to have after the operation. At this
point still get tired pretty quick, even just playing on the
computer. Thank you again. Jim

Give it time, Jim, and keep getting better!
It's amazing what they can do these days without needing long
incisions. It's like something out of Star Trek!
