Soy for breakfast in Canada ... hmmm ...
Vegan poutine has tofu chunks instead of grains de fromage.
       Gravy from Marmite. N'est pas?

About half the farm fields around here are growing soy beans,
but I have no idea what they do with them. Only soy I've ever
eaten is soy sauce on Chinese food!

I fact-checked myself and I WAS correct. The primary usage of
soybeans is for animal feed. What I did NOT know is much of the
vegetable oil we purchase is soy oil. Soy is also used to make
       biodiesel fuel.

Is soy normally served at breakfast in Canada?
       [/quote]
No, it's that soy lecithin is a cross contaminate in so many
things, including all commercial loaves of bread and much of the
       oils.
