Yes gag! I've enjoyed French Onion Soup all over the world,
including in France, and it's always great, but the best I ever
had was in Quebec City. Just perfect! I guess they're still
doing it the traditional way, without a lavatory and toilet.

Honestly, it is more trouble doing it his way with several
gadgets and hoses. Easier, tidier and CLEANER with a cutting
board, knife and soup pan. 🤷‍♀️

Speaking of bad foodie tips, I once watched a video on how to
make homemade pasta. The main ingredient was store bought
pasta! She pulverized it in a blender, then mixed it with a
few things, then shaped the pasta. Talk about “more trouble
than it’s worth!”

I don't know about you, but I wipe that sink with a
disinfectant. I'm sure that's not tasty!

OK, I had to laugh, at myself mainly. This is the kind of stuff
I did as a kid. I cooked grilled cheese sandwiches on my
upturned 150-watt desk lamp at school. I warmed pizza in a box
perched on top of the engine in my truck. I backpacked a can of
beans 3 days into Yellowstone to cook it in a geyser. I used
bear pepper spray to season a pizza I cooked when camping in
Waterton CN. Lit the alcohol coming off the vent on a pressure
cooker containing 1 rabbit and 1 bottle of Riesling.
