Well, Mrs. I'm Not VEGAN" left us a review on TA, add the lie
that we didn't tell her of a room change, and a lie about the AC
not working.
Had to reply to her. Tried to be as nice as possible, but I'm
angry that she ruined the breakfast of the other family that was
here with her entitlement.
And now I need 5 reviews of 5* to move up. The only good thing
is that she signed her name to her reviews so everyone can know
her name and refuse to take her. And if her friends find out,
they will know that she would throw a child under the bus.

I feel your pain. More than once my hands have been so shaking
with anger and the sense of injustice that I couldn't type.
I was thinking just today, as I put sheets on an air mattress
for a 3rd person in the room, of the woman who chewed me out
because the pull-out couch the room used to have was no longer
there. She had planned for her daughter to sleep on it, as a 3rd
person in the room, though she only indicated, and paid for, 2
in the room.
I wrote back, "So you planned to have a 3rd person in the room
without telling me or paying for it?"
She wrote back, doubling down on it being MY fault that the
sleeper couch wasn't there. She never let up. I finally just
ignored her and pressed on, but I still fume about it, and will
to my dying day. I wish I had called the police on her for theft
of services.

I appreciate my guests, blessed that the vast majority of them
are just nice folks. The few unpleasant reviews give me a chance
to explain what I am and am not to guide future guests.
I'm fortunate to not serve food, seems to cut out a lot of
headaches although if I did it would have to be on the basis of
"this is what I eat, you're welcome to share".
Each of our rooms has a number of people the room will
accommodate and that is included in the cost. If a guest selects
more than that number, it triggers an extra "you don't want to
stay here" cost. If extra arrive there is already an established
extra cost. Maybe not a perfect solution yet it seems to help.
