       What Women Want

It's interesting, to me, a guy. I have one suite that's kind of
"bunker." It's in the basement with 2-foot-thick rock and
concrete walls, one door, one small window. To me, it's
claustrophobic, feels "closed in." I was afraid people would
       complain about it.
But it has proved to be one of my most popular units, especially
with single women. I suppose they feel safe in a rock and
concrete bunker. As a man not living in Africa, I just can't
imagine what it must be like to live in fear of being attacked
       by larger, stronger beasts.[attachimg=1]

Is the price the same as your other units or could it be an
economical option for someone traveling alone with no one to
       impress?

Same price as the others. I have several solo women business
travelers who pick that room every time they come, and if it's
unavailable, they contact me to double check! They really want
it. It's smaller than the other units, but same rate as the
others. I might raise the rate since it's so popular! ;)

Is it ground level? Or they go down stairs to enter it? I know
at least one other IS street level - no stairs.
It could be that it being below street level, there is little or
no street noise AND it would go unnoticed to passersby. Also, in
summer, it is most likely cooler without the noise (or blast) of
       A/C.

It's in the back of the building, ground level entry from my
parking lot back there. Since the lot runs downhill in the back
of the building, the basement is dug into the hillside, so it's
entered at ground level, but it's a floor below the main floor
       of the building.
Believe me, the A/C is going even in the basement in Arkansas
       summers!
If I were more talkative with guests, I'd just ask them why they
pick that unit, but since it's mostly women who book it
repeatedly, I assume a feeling of safety comes into play, but we
know what "assume" makes us "u" and "me." :D

Just a guess here, if I am in a different room do I park in the
same lot? Is it convenient to just walk in that basement room?
       Less exposure to the traveller.
I love to run my mouth and talk with guests when given the
opportunity. I'm also known to ask questions of my guest on
       Facebook or in emails.
I also think we are creatures of habit, me anyway. When we used
to visit this area as guests, my favorite room was the one I
first stayed in on our visit in 1965. I can think of several
guests that routinely choose the same room each time.
