       Last year on the way home from a rail-trail foundation meeting,
       I hit a cowling from a riding mower that was in the road. Ended
       up having to buy 2 new tires (gouging from that piece of metal.
       Wednesday night coming home from a Foundation meeting, a pothole
       found me and suddenly the car started making rattling noise.
       UGH! Yesterday I stopped in at the garage and told him what
       happened. He lifted the hood, saw nothing. Went inside and came
       out with a jack and lifted the side of the car enough that he
       could get under. the bottom cover of the catalytic converter had
       rusted and the pothole loosened it  - THAT was the rattling!. He
       took it off and showed it to me - and said you can get another
       one, but it serves no purpose and I would not bother. So I am
       not going to. And he would not take any money for his time!
