Apologies for butting in but why can't Generic reach your
website? I have had no issues reaching your website any time I
tried. Does your host have frequent issues or is it just Generic
that can't connect? If just our friend, is his host/provider
blocking your host's IP for some reason.
I don't have issues with my website [to my knowledge] but I do
have issues with junk email. I get many more junk emails than
folks that really want to speak with me. My host does a piss
poor job of filtering out the junk. I attempted running my
incoming mail through Outlook and it worked initially but seems
they didn't want to be bothered with the junk either and seem to
have blocked email from my host. This is why I ask the
questions.

I have a tracker (Web-Stat) on my website. I saw the hit from
Boone this morning. I am getting hit on the site every day. Just
last night had a reservation from the Book Now button.
I have no ideas what the problem is and have not received any
info from the people who created the site - I am my "webmaster"
of sorts. they are not "on call" except I have asked questions
in the past nd they answered. I had an handshake agreement in
2019 with the owner for a "chunk change - in his world amount
that was all I could afford- to do some data mining marketing
for me. JUST before the crap hit the fan in 2020, I discovered I
had a new website (the current one). After the shutdown, I
emailed him to send me an invoice for 1/3 of our agreement so I
could pay. he ignored me. He called after the 3rd email telling
me to sit on my money that i would need it and I told him he had
a family & employees and it was just me and I knew I could
afford to pay. He said he had people who owed him much more who
were nor even talking to him.
After things opened up, he asked if he could turn my job over to
his sister's division - the ground floor hires and I said yes
because they have to learn somewhere. When she told me the plan,
keeping a reserve in case something good came up I told her I
had not received a bill for the website. His answer came back -
it was covered. He never charged me for it. I just paid the 3
invoices that were sent for the marketing. I have been blessed

I'm currently somewhere east of Australia on an ocean liner. I
tried to access the Gillum website and got the attached. I
switched to a US-based server using a VPN (virtual private
network) and was able to access the Gillum website OK. So it's
blocking visitors from outside USA.

Thank you. I very much appreciate the test. I guess perhaps it
is because of all the Nigerian priests. The tracker has reported
Singapore and a few others but I do not know if they got in. I
will call Pat & Carrie when I get back from Cleveland now that
we have a better handle of what is happening. I DO want Canada
to be able to access.

Thanks Arks and Gillum.
Questions for Gillum. Was your concern about "priests" that they
visited your website, or did you get abundant email from them?
Fishing for answers to my own email issues. I get many times
more junk emails than actual business emails. If blocking access
to the website from certain areas would also kill the junk
emails, I might find that useful.

The junk I'm getting lately are 10+ per day, appearing to be
from different major companies, letting me know I just need to
contact them for a free gift I've won. None of them come from
company addresses. They are all from things like
virelithorewards.com and triveraxisgifts.com. They aren't even
smart enough to make it look like they're coming from the
company they claim to be. A daily pain to delete them all, but
I've found that they eventually end after a couple of weeks. I
report them as phishing and move on.
