SHOCKED! Shocked, I tell you!

Most of you are going to roll your eyes and say, Big Whoop! For
me it is.
First on Dec 23 I sell a 2-night gift certificate for Christmas
and it is immediately turned into a reservation for Jan, 1 & 2.
Then a week ago I get 2 reservations for my 2 budget rooms for
September for 1 night, leave for 1 night and then return for
another night on their way back. I am sitting here saying WOW!
Rarely get even 1 month in advance. THEN yesterday, I get a
2-night in May and she says let me know if there is anything
happening in the area, I might just come in on Thursday (would
be a 3rd night). So I tell here about the log house, trail,
camel & zebra. Today, she that she is coming in for the
Thursday also - a 3-night!
For me - this is a WOW happening. I need to come up with
something to celebrate my 30-year anniversary in July!
I am currently putting together a large basket that I made in
1997 and filling for the Silent Auction ALP is doing in
Cleveland March 2-5. It is music rom WV (2 signed albums 1 lives
in my City and the other in addition to being a
musician/songwriter designed the WV quarter) and a CD by a
singer who grew up 25 miles from me plus things made here in my
City and other things from WV. Looking into buying bottles of
moonshine, whiskey, and rye from a local distillery as well as
some wines made here. This will be in addition to 3 baskets with
my roasted coffees, a coffee grinder, and Gillum mug. Smaller
items for those who do not have deep pockets to bid on.

Sounds good! Glad you're keeping busy. Thanks in part to the
recent snowstorm, I just came off the worst month since I opened
13 years ago. Hoping the only way to go from here is up!
