Should I Post Pictures and Recipes on Insta?

I've never really done it. And now I'm starting to wonder if I
should take pictures of my breakfasts and sometimes offer the
recipes? Do you think people will like that? There don't appear
to be a lot of breakfast recipes on insta.
And no, I'm not going for the "trends" of sugar-free maple
syrup, protein powder and GF everything.

I have not posted the recipes on Instagram but I have posted
many breakfast photos. They have gotten attention even without
the lovely presentation you and other innkeepers do. My table is
et fancy, but the food is just good farm home cooking. When I
post on Instagram it also goes to Facebook.

I don't server food at the motel, but I post pictures of flowers
in the garden, colorful evening skies, anything that might get
folks to stop and look at my post on Facebook. Now I'm not much
of a traveler but I do love to eat. Fancy not necessary, but a
hardy country breakfast would be a motivator for me.

Good luck! I've always heard that it's really difficult to
photograph food so it looks as appetizing as the real thing.
I've read about tricks professional photographers use, like
placing microwaved damp cotton balls inside food to create the
illusion of steam, hairspray used to give shine and sheen to
fruits and vegetables, shaving cream to look like perfect
frosting or whipped cream, white glue to mimic milk, glycerin to
look like drops of dew on fruits and vegetables.
They say when you see a juicy cheeseburger in a fast food ad,
almost nothing in the photo is real!
