       Checking in as OK

I had no idea about the terrible weather yesterday until I had a
couple messagers asking if I was OK.
The morning was beautiful and then in the afternoon we had
shower, some thunder, stopped, then more. the frustrating thing
was my daughter and my #1 grandson were here and we were using
her truck to take the stuff he had removed from my "crap room"
upstairs (you know, the I m not using this (or replaced) right
now but might need it later" to the Clubhouse for storage until
the August Rummage sale. He started loading, then unloaded
because of rain 3 times before we actually got it over there.
To answer the weather question - there was horrible rain and at
least one building that collapsed in the city 10 miles north of
me. There was also flash flooding just outside of Wheeling (I
grew up about 30 miles from the flooding area) where 3 separate
creeks that feed into the Ohio River flooded.
Shinnston is good. Thank you for caring.

Jim Boone emailed me this morning asking so I thought I should
let everyone know I had no clue even though for one, I was 10
miles away. I took my daughter to dinner at Cracker Barrell
tonight and the waitress told me exactly where it was - the
apartment building was right ON the river behind Fairmont State
University - the rain and rushing water eroded the bank and the
       building collapsed into the river.

Somewhere around 25 years ago we spend the night in Fairmont,
area didn't look good on Facebook. That was before I knew of the
forum but wouldn't have ever been here without Miss K's help. I
get attached to my friends here on the forum.

Jim, I tried twice to reply to your email, but both times it
bounced back with the message: There was an error while
attempting to deliver your message. It has been in queue too
long, and will not attempt delivery again. The Destination MTA:
"DNSFAIL" reported the following reason for not accepting your
       message: "??"
What I tried to send to you was:
Thanks. I hadn't thought about Trip Advisor in a long time. I
consider them mostly a thing of the past. Best I recall, you
have to activate the pay per click program for your rates and
web address to show up in TA, but the program expires after a
few months, and TA doesn't notify you/remind you that it has
expired. My pay per click program probably expired a couple of
years ago! As I said, I never think about them anymore. But I'll
       look into it.
       Arks
