Allergy To Finishing A Roll Of Toilet Paper

Apparently there is a new allergy. It's to finishing the damn
roll. Instead, they leave what's left and go to a new roll. I'm
so damn tempted to equip a room with 20 of these rolls that need
to be finished, just to hear what the guest will say to us as to
WHY they want a new roll

Guests are funny, we usually beat them to it by swapping out the
small rolls and using them ourselves, keeps me supplied and I
don't get bothered by the guest.

That's frustrating! I can't imagine why someone would go to the
trouble to get out a new roll until they've finished the one
that's already there. Do you think they do that at home?
I was thinking a couple of days ago about the COVID toilet paper
shortages. We'd set up a room with a new roll, and an extra, and
they would all be gone after a one or two night stay! People
obviously took them home.
Ah, the roll leftovers. Like Jim of Boone, I use the small rolls
myself, and that's how I know business has been slow lately. If
I ever get out a full roll at home, I know the inn hasn't been
generating sufficient leftover rolls!

Gotta add a column to my spreadsheet. After gross income,
expenses, room bookings, cancellations…..new tp usage.

IF there is a half roll and it is a 1-night reservation, I leave
it, if 2-nightsw I put up a new roll and I have more TP for my
bathroom. I am guaranteed, unfortunately, to having new rolls
downstairs December thru March.

It's gotta has less than a single usage for me to change it.
There are extra rolls. But you should be enough of an adult. You
aren't paying me 5* prices. You can damn well finish the roll.
