We retired!

Last checkout left before we woke up this morning!
We are having coffee and paying no attention to the time.
11 years, 8 new bathrooms, countless stories, frustrations,
laughs and surprises.

Congratulations. Enjoy. I hope you tracel and do all the things
you had in the "Some Day File" because NOW is Some Day.
I thought about it but decided that I live here so I may as well
be open. BUT, as I have said many times, I am not in a tourist
mecca. After my B & Bs For Vets leave, I most likely will not
have ANY guests until perhaps April. I have a listing on
BNBFinder and my website but I do not do any other marketing - a
post on Insta once in a while. People still find me - enough to
cover expenses which is all I ever asked of my B & B.

No more pretending to like people anymore lol. Nice to end on
your terms and on your timeline. I hope you get the chance to
enjoy the rest of days to the fullest

Indeed, it'll feel good. Congratulations!
I keep toying with the Plan, but like Gillum, we live here and
it slows down in winter, so I keep it up.

You made it! You survived until retirement! Enjoy it, but keep
busy. Don't retire to a reclining chair and DEcline there. I've
seen people do that in retirement, and they usually go downhill
pretty fast!
