Can I Have The Room Early? Are You Offering Help With the
Housekeeping?

I hate that question. Check-in is 3PM. Is it 3PM? No. Give me
time to work, check and relax. You wanted it early, PAY and
compensate me. No. Your room isn't available early.
When am I allowed to call them up and ask them to pay me extra
because it's sunny outside? When is my turn?

Look at it this way, if they check in early, you don’t have to
wait for them. 🤷‍♀️.
My best check in early story. Woman is at the office door dying
for a bathroom. Wants to checkin. I ask the housekeeper. Yes,
the room is ready. So, sure, here’s the key. 15 minutes
later, she’s at the door, “ there are no towels in my room!”
Kind of with attitude like we are so horrible at our jobs.
I got her towels and to this day, I regret not saying, “I
generally walk the rooms to double check but since you were in
such a hurry to check in, I didn’t have the chance.”

ghe housekeeper said the ROOM was ready, she did not say he
bathroom was ready.......
