Would you respond to this email?

The inn received an email this morning with subject:
ouradventure
How are you?,Me and my husband Dirk are going to be
staying at your hotel and we would like to check if you have a
microwave Thank you very much.
It makes me suspicious for several reasons. The subject,
bothering to name the spouse, the punctuation mistakes, opening
with how are you.
Am I too cautious? If I respond, at best I get a couple of
illiterate, unsophisticated guests, who didn't bother to read
the room amenities list on the website, which is OK, I guess.
On the more negative end of things, I confirm that their bait
worked and they have an active email address they can try to
con.

A gmail address by chance? I seem to get a number lately asking
questions or help with booking. If you answer their reply comes
as a link or an attachment which I have no intention of opening.
Answered one or two and then just started deleting.
2 today different return addresses but both claiming to be the
same person, at least they could be a bit more creative.

I wouldn’t. Doesn’t change anything whether or not you have
a mocrowave. Dumb question. Looks like a scam. If it
is real, they will call.

It would be an immediate delete here. Giving the spouse name is
a BIG tell. It is unnecessary to the question that is stupid in
the first place. AND since when is a Guesthouse a hotel? The
stay ar your hotel is so generic that this is most likely a mass
("got a live e-mail, George!") message sent to a purchased list.

Good morning!,Me and my husband Dirk are going to be staying at
your hotel and we would like to check if you have a microwave
Thank you very much.
First of all, if they were really sending it to me, it would be
coming from our web form. Secondly, they wouldn't be calling me
a hotel. And finally, who puts a comma after an exclamation
mark.... never mind who puts an exclamation mark after Good
Morning.
But also, I put it through Gemini (Google's AI) and even it
says:
Yes, this is likely a phishing email.
While it seems harmless enough, there are several red flags:
Poor grammar: The email contains grammatical errors (e.g., "Me
and my husband Dirk are going to be staying").
Lack of detail: The email lacks essential information like the
names of the guests, their arrival date, or even the hotel name.
Suspicious request: Asking about a microwave in a hotel is
unusual, as most hotels provide this information on their
website or through customer service.
Phishers often use simple, informal emails to trick recipients
into replying or clicking on links. They might be trying to
gather personal information or install malware.
Do not reply to this email or click on any links it might
contain.
