       Horror Story entry

Okay, note that this also may be part of my book series that I'm
writing. XD Anyway, here's the story. XD:
The shrieks and battle cries of the
many waverns pierced through the thin, night sky as Timber Wolf
stood there, heat pulsing from the stone ground as he stood
there. "How did I ever get myself into this mess?" , he thought
angrily, "I should not have brought myself to this living hell."
Timber had then pushed farther back into his memory, remembering
the main reason for why he had come here...
Storm clouds had filled the sky, as
Timber watched the many dark, shadowy waverns and ravens, flying
away into the cloudy sky. Timber's muscles were still tensed
after his last fight with the shadows, and still felt as though
the shadows had not yet been defeated. Feeling as though
something had gone terribly wrong, Timber then began to run
through the forest, running back to the Kingdom of Avalon.
It had taken a few minutes before
Timber reached the castle of Avalon, only to find many, many of
the wolf knights and peasants of Avalon standing there in pure
horror, the many shocked, and worried chatter that filled the
kingdom. "What's going on?", Timber asked one of the knights.
"How could you have missed it?!", the knight replied, still
angry about what must've gone wrong, "The shadows have stolen
the Spell Book of Avalon, and now we're in a load of trouble!"
Timber looked around at the many shocked and angry wolves,
looking for Lightningstar, whom of which was both one of his
closest friends, and royalty of Avalon.
       When Timber caught sight of
Lightningstar, a white, winged wolf with a moon crescent
necklace worn upon her neck, Lightningstar had stood in front of
the crowd. "Listen here!", Lightningstar howled, her voice loud
and clear among that of the crowd's, and the other wolves had
soon fell silent. "We can't just stand here and rant about this
all day, if we don't take action soon, darkness can fall upon
Avalon! Someone needs to go the shadow's lair and fetch that
Spell Book before all hell brakes loose! Who will join me, and
       finally rebel upon the shadows?"
A soft murmur of voices fell upon
the castle, as the wolves then seemed to be discussing about
something, until Timber stepped to the front of the crowd and
said, "I'll go." Many of the wolves gasped at Timber's offer to
volunteer, as he was only an apprentice, not yet a knight. "If
Timber is going," Lightningstar said, "Then I'm going too." As
Timber and Lightningstar then began to walk out of the castle,
they were only stopped by Moonshade, Lightningstar's mother.
"Lightningstar," Moonshade said quickly yet worriedly, "I'm not
going to loose you again, you better stay here." "Look Mum, it's
either let darkness take over Avalon, or we fight to defend
Avalon. It's now or never.", Lightningstar replied, yet not
       wanting to cause an argument.
       Moonshade sighed at this, and
pondered for a moment, as if she were thinking it through, then
said, "Fine, you two can go. But Timber, promise that you will
bring Lightningstar home safely." "I will, Moonshade.", Timber
replied, as he then licked the bottom of Moonshade's muzzle.
"Good lad," Moonshade said, smiling at this, "I wish you both
luck." Lightningstar smiled and and bid her mother farewell, as
both she and Timber then raced out of the castle, and to the
       borders of Avalon.
       . . .
       "No," Timber thought, snapping back
into reality, "I must not give up on this journey. For Flower,
for Lightningstar, for all of Avalon!" Timber then raced deeper
into the living hell, sudden energy and determination pulsing
through him, as he went on to fetch the missing Spell Book of
       Avalon.

Ah wow very nicely done, i like it very much. but (in my
opinion) i wouldnt call it much of a horror story, its more of
an adventure/questy type thing. but still very good

Thanks. XD And, I like doing fantasy, but the only reason why
it's a horror story entry, is because of the place Timber was in
throughout the story. The "living hell" part is one reason.
Their enemy, "The Shadows", is another. XD
