They are passive. I realize that the only active enemy we have

He is looting 21,000 golds in 1 day? I believe he has high
levels of Golden Vamps.

yes, there are lots of high level golden vamps with highlevel
sentinels. What they do is they sell sentinel and attack the
vamp to gain big golds. If he sold 15,000 worth sentinel, he can
loot 1500 golds in that attack.
