       And a BIG welcome from the Free IL2 Modding Site!  *We've done a
       LOT of updates here now that we've grown so fast... we're now
       called IL2 Air Combat!
       You've come to the 'right' place for learning the 'secrets' of
       modding for the wonderful game of IL2. And you've come to the
       right place for fellowship with 'like-minded' other modders of
       the game. And if you're not a modder but just want some of the
       'best' NEW (or old) IL2 mods around... ha-ha, well we're happy
       to see you too and you can certainly grab what we have to offer.
       Here you can hang out with friends, make new friends if you care
       to, discuss the game, discuss the mods, (discuss just about
       anything other than porno or ugly in-fighting) and you'll likely
       find some other nice guys that'll be happy to join in the
       conversation.
       They'll be no personal attacks here from other people or other
       sites and we welcome ALL as long as they clearly understand that
       and behave.  They'll be no back-stabbing either... if you lack
       loyalty, courtesy, kindness and consideration... if you consider
       yourself the end-all of end-all's of this game (or of anything
       else really), then 'be gone!' for we are gentlemen here and we
       have no place for the likes of that!
       You see we don't care who you are or where you came from or what
       you're doing (hopefully modding or flying the game  ) but we DO
       care that you act as a gentleman and all-round good guy here to
       all the other gentlemen and all-round good guys already here.
       This community has been plagued by brutal in-fighting, savage
       LOOK AT ME personalities and abusive, controlling self-interest
       sites for TOO long. And it's time to do something about all
       that. It's time for a change in attitude, a time for a change in
       the 'status quo'... time for a change in the 'SAME OLE SAME
       OLD'... and we here at the FM * Now IL2 Air Combat* site aim to
       do just that.
       Join us in this endeavor, and the entire game and community can
       only prosper for it!

       *Proof of concept as below, an old site logo/front page and a
       picture of me as original site was placed online and running.
       If pictures appear reduced, try clicking on them a time or two
       to see if they'll enlarge a bit.  There is no denying the truth.
       This site is from my original host's 'backup' copy of the
       original IL2 Free Modding site (made entirely by me, Free
       Modder_One/Beowolff, after THOUSANDS of hours of hard,
       intellectually-owned work) with only minor modernizations and
       changes here and there to suit this new host and to aid and
       improve it but still retain the original flavor and direction.
       No "other" site (no matter it's host or it's own claims)
       claiming for themselves such as I have just stated as simple,
       provable fact, is being truthful about it.  I am the 'original'
       and 'true' owner of this site, it's logo's and it's name and
       other intellectual property---it's very idea.  And others making
       such claims are merely false, pretentious, and "stolen."
       (---Yes, I said, stolen!)
       There are always lazy, conceited and dishonest folk that seek to
       take from good men that which they do not deserve.  This time
       however, ---they shall not get away with it.  And they can put
       'that' in their pipes and smoke it!
       We're here to have fun.  And the Devil take the hind-most!

       *Additional proof 'easily' available.
       My old FM site may have been stolen by dishonest thieves...
       Barnesy and Tyger and Slipper and Willy over there... but this
       one WON'T be, and it's already a hundred times better than that
       place ever was!  Mostly due to our wonderful and FRIENDLY,
       HONEST members here!
