Thankyou very much Toobone for the information your pics looks
fantastic and i can’t wait to set my up as well.I will try it
again to do as you say and maybe unzip the sta mod on my other
drive as im running windows 10 and maybe this is why it won’t
start for me when i click the start exe.I will try the start
game.cmd and see what happens. Thankyou kindly for helping me i
really appreciate it Toobone.

Hello Toobone i m still trying to get this wonderful game to
start for me.This is what I did download from your link to my
laptop 12GB then used 7zip to unpack the whole file can’t use
anything else as the file is STA3.47z Ziped so unzipped it to my
d drive all files unzipped with no errors.Then i went to open
the starter.exe file we’re all the files we’re unzipped it
opened a small box and there i have a choice to change if i want
English or different language so i pick English also choice if i
want the SF game or menu i pick SF game then i click on start in
the box then the screen goes almost straight and opens a notepad
with few question marks and it’s saying also error.I have also
tried running the start.exe in windows compatible win 7 mode and
still same i must have tried it 10 times and ten times download
file but still same also tried the start game file to start the
game still nothing.So Toobone i think im out of luck don’t know
what else to do as i really like this game mod and want to start
playing it.😔

What about Manual for this game? Did you check it? Maybe some
progs as DirectX9c or ogg library required..& RU + UA fonts try
to activate in your Win10 (i hate this OS)...

Toobone hello again and thanks for your kind reply.No i have
checked all the documents that are in the unzipped files and
none say anything about installing or running it.I have compared
it to your files that are in your pic you posted before and the
only difference is that your files some end with cmd and mine
don’t.So im not sure if that has anything to do with starting
the game but i think that something is definitely wrong in the
unpacking with windows 10 i don’t like it ether but im stuck
with it unfortunately.Is it any way you could sent it already
unpacked to my email please Toobone if possible?

No, sorry, its too big archive for sending & will killed too
much of my working time because of traffic speed for upload.I
think, in your unpack STA cmd named *.bat, its the same as *.cmd
in my ru vers of sta (you saw it in pics over i shared early
here). i think problem in your Win10..smth need to be
rechecked.. DirectX9 all vers must be installed in your OS, OGG
codecs need too. Maybe Ru/UA language could be activated just in
case..If after all it doesn't started :-\ so, try this:

link and also i be downgrading as well.I prefer to get your one
going please.If you can’t send it unpacked what about sending it
to me zipped but Not with a-zip but just normal windows zip so i
can unpack it just with windows.Yes you might be right that
something is missing and this is why every time i try to start
it it just opened notepad.

Thankyou for your reply Toobone i fully understand that its a
big file Sta.3.4 but this is the one i want otherwise if i
dongrade to a lesser one than i miss out on lots of new features
and things that are on sta 3.4 mod.OKi know its a too big of a
file to be sent unpacked so how about this wound it be possibe
for you yo zip it in a different format so the stupid win 10 can
understand and sent that in my email.I would be willing to pay
you for your trouble please i realy would like to get the game
going as i like it very much and there is so much talent in the
mods and game. :)

One my friend did some as in shot over with his PC for STA3.4 &
it start to work with OS Win10..maybe this is a way, I don't
now.
& why you still don't send here shot with your unpack game just
as I send here over in reply #9? I repeat, i have no time for
sending a 12 Gb file & i never have had Internet at home, sorry.

Thankyou Toobone i will try that the reason why i haven’t posted
a screen shot of the unpacked 3.4 mod because i don’t know
how.As i mentioned in my previous post i not that computer tech
person but i will try and do it i will get information on it on
internet. Thankyou for this information i will try and do it and
see if it work.As i have said in my other post and you can PM me
if you could send me the file compressed then so i don’t have to
go through google drive and i will pay for you for it.
