Well done Haukka ... way to get your damaged aircraft on the
ground safely !!! Nice work hitting the Huns as well, 3 tanks
and 3 enemy aircraft, very well done, congrats !!! AND, as Lars
pointed out, watch out for those native girls. :)

of mission: Mission failed. 1 tank destroyed, and 1 plane shot
down, also a couple damaged.[/font]

points. *note, low score must be because I failed mission (for
some reason) and had to bail thus loosing my plane?[/font]
[font=Verdana]Debrief:[/font]
[font=Verdana]I had trouble spotting the individual tanks to hit
and was too long to effectively hit them with rockets when I did
spot them. I climbed to proper altitude and came back and
easily popped an enemy tank, turned for a long column but then
got hit from above by German airplanes. I was hit pretty hard
but managed to outmaneuver and nail my attacker. At this point
both me and my wingman was smoking...shot up pretty badly. I
tried to make it back to base but could not with my engines
giving out over the sea JUST as I started my landing run. I had
to bail! Not a terrible mission but not as good as I'd hoped
I'd perform on it. Still, a fun mission to fly!

Not a terrible mission but not as good as I'd hoped I'd perform
on it. Still, a fun mission to fly!

You're right BeoWolff, that was a difficult mission. The ground
attack in the sand dunes is always a good show, but very
dangerous too! The issue of the mission result may be due to the
fact that this time I made some kind of mistake with the
assignment of the targets, at that time I did not know what I
know today thanks to the generous help of DHumphrey.
We have seen that you have fallen into the sea. Hold on boy, a
rescue boat is coming to your aid !! :-*
