Take off from aircraft carrier

This is not intended to be the norm or rule for a carrier
takeoff. It is said in Spanish that "each teacher has his little
book" (cada maestro con su librito), so it is nothing more than
my own personal method, which at least works for me. Aircraft
carriers have that extra point of difficulty that makes many of
us avoid them. I still have a lot to learn about it.

Good instruction Haukka. I too prefer to take off without the
catapult; sometimes it is necessary though if there are too many
planes on the deck and then not enough room until the end of the
flight deck.

Thanks Haukka. I managed to install the mission in Ypack 123
4.13.4 Modact 6.4 and it worked fine.
I managed to take off as you showed but noticed the carrier
control tower disappeared as I started and reappeared as I left
the deck. Anyway, I managed to destroy an AA position with the
napalm then crashed into the hilltop when I tried to strafe the
emplacements. The flak had damaged me so I guess I lost control
while concentrating on the target. Oh well. Kamikaze in the
Pacific and all that. lol. Received 21 points even though I was
probably captured and tortured!
