       cafs,
The Ki-15 skins look great. If you are interested, there are
some more interesting options than bare metal for this plane:

... Back to the plane of the week topic though -
When you fly the Zero in game, you feel the agility of course
but also the stress of always having to look behind you due to
the vulnerability of the plane. Against early war opponents,
you learn to climb quickly, dive in for a close-in quick burst
(to ensure hits and to save ammo - you rely on the 20mm for the
killing power), then climb again. You have to turn your neck or
your plane constantly to stay safe.
Some historians mentioned that some Zero pilots removed their
radio set due to reliability and weight concern - if so then it
would be very difficult to watch over each other and make it
even more important to keep a constant vigilance. A beautiful
plane and a classic design, but it must be quite an experience
to pilot this over the battlefield.
       Cheers,
       [/font]

That's true Ben; a flight in a Zero is an anxious time. Those
American .50 cal machine guns can create quite a fire.

The Zero is a beautiful plane, but you have to aim well because
the ammo capacity is not that impressive - especially in the 21
       version.

And this is what my Swedish Zeke looks like: And to think that
if Stalin had agreed to their transit to Europe today the Swedes
would not have their beautiful Grippen. First they wanted to
build a copy of the Zero with the Bristol Taurus engine under
the name J-19, then they built their J-22 and then more of their
       own fighters.
Usually it is written that the Japanese copied the planes of
other countries: the Zero was to be a copy of the American V-143
or the British F-5/34 (Guardian), and in fact it was in Europe
that attempts were made to copy the Japanese plane.
