I could fly this mission without problems in a Ultraspain 2019

I was not very smart managing my engine. I think it burned, as
it stopped while overheating. Although I did not achieve any
objective, this distressing condition revealed something
extraordinary in this aircraft: its tremendous gliding ability.
I was able to get to the base and land without problems.
It was entertaining, for several days I had wanted to do a
glider flight.

Well done Haukka. A beautiful map. I have yet to set up an Ultra
Spain version. Am still trying to get SCW to download properly.
That has the China and Mongolia areas that US doesn't have.

Good Job Haukka. One thing I have found about these older planes
is to
turn OFF the OVER HEAT...
Glad you like the mission..

Some one Please get us a mission to play.
I just can get in the mood of it right now.
The mission needs to be one that plays in STOCK GAME only....No
Mods.... ;)
Tested in VPModpack, 4.14.1 Stock and HSFX7.0.3. It is an old
cooperative mission of JG26_EZ, I have made it Single, in
addition to softening the ferocity of the enemy, as well as
improving the climate a little. You find it in Single / DE /
Cold Hearts by EZ.

Good morning gentlemen! Today we return to this
healthy tradition of the weekly mission, in a relaxed
competition where the main objective is to enjoy, regardless of
the result. We briefly recall the main rule of this competition,
as it was outlined by Master Beowolff when this activity began,
almost a year ago: we will only fly once, and we will present
that result. Obviously, if any of us have a takeoff accident,
you can try again.
The idea I have in mind is to present a weekly mission, which
will be published on Sundays starting today, and for the
nomenclature and order in the work, we will be guided by the
number of the week, a method that has proven to be very
effective in the past in other circumstances and in other
places.
This mission that we present here today, is originally the first
mission of a campaign called "Hell in the Pacific - Peleliu", by
PhilK, and that was published in M4T on January 8, 2007. On that
occasion it was announced that the campaign was compatible with
version 4.07 of the simulator, and here we have adapted and
revised it to be flown in single mode, as well as other
modifications that will allow a more fluid performance, in
addition to giving the pilot control of his target.
This mission is tested in versions 4.12.2m, 4.13.4m and 4.14.1m,
it also works very well in HSFX7.0.3 and Ypack1.2.3; However, I
do not recommend flying it in BAT, since for some reason things
do not work there as they should, neither in the mission nor in
the FMB, I do not know why, and I am not going to shell my
brains trying to find out why that happens. For this reason, I
recommend flying it in one of the five installations mentioned
first.
According to the reception that this first mission has, it is
possible that in the following three Sundays of this month we
will fly missions of this same campaign, as a summary of it, and
then change to another scenario or front in the month of
December .
I hope you enjoy this mission. It is of medium duration, the
objective is relatively close, and if you stick to the
instructions and your lucky star is with you, you may return
home.
One last observation: fly as you like best; If you want to fly
with tags and wp on the map, do it, nobody will judge you for
it. I hope that more pilots are encouraged to participate this
time, there are many of us here, and no one is better than
anyone: the objective is to share an activity with friends. The
results must be delivered before next Sunday. You have one week.
Have a good day!

Good morning gentlemen, I have news for you: we will stay in
Peleliu for a few more days, perhaps until the end of the month.
It all depends on how we do it. The Japanese remnant on the
island is trying to stop the landing of our marines in their
latest armor. They will try to take them to the beach, your job
will be to prevent them from arriving. For this task we will
carry eight AP HVAR 5 "rockets.
This mission corresponds to the third mission of PhilK's "Hell
in the Pacific - Peleliu" campaign. Here the level of difficulty
increases as they are moving targets. It is also possible that
the enemy will send air reinforcements, be very vigilant.
Some simple recommendations:
1) Take off behind your leader, don't separate from him.
2) Do not delay in the attack, once finished return home.
3) I know aircraft carrier landings are tough, but give it a try
anyway.
This mission, like the previous one and those to come, has been
tweaked in my mission workshop ;D , and I have
made it easier than it really is: I have improved the time a
little, I have reduced the number of possible aerial threats, I
have han lowered the skill of enemies on the ground. It is not
an easy mission yet, there are many Japanese who want to kill
you, so be careful.
I have tested this mission in 4.12.2m, in VP Modpack, in
HSFX7.0.3 and in Ypack1.2.3. In BAT it does NOT work (checked).
Remember that Ypack allows you to drop the rockets one at a time
(if that was your choice).
These are great missions. I have almost ready next week's one, a
real Dante hell. Guess where we'll fly. Enjoy your
flight.
Have a good day! :-*

IL-2 AIR COMBAT OFFLINE COMPETITION
Y2020-Week47 / Assault on Angaur
Good morning Gentlemen, this morning we have work: the assault
on Angaur is about to begin. This operation will be a pincer
job, divided between the West (RED) and East (BLUE) beaches. It
is up to you to smooth the positions of the beach in the BLUE
sector. For this you will carry bombs and rockets. Once you've
dropped your load, you can deal with other targets, if your
plane, your ammunition, and your nerves allow You. The Japanese
will not hand over that island amicably.
Enemy air presence is not expected, but don't worry, if the
Japanese arrive, they will let you know.
This mission corresponds to the sixth mission of PhilK's "Hell
in the Pacific - Peleliu" campaign. The enemy's ferocity has
been generously tempered, yet it will be formidable opposition.
Remember not to separate from your leader, at least on the way
to Angaur. Then proceed with freedom of action to
accomplish your objective in the way you see fit.
I have tested this mission in 4.12.2m & 5.3Modact, 4.13.4m &
6.4Modact, 4.12.2m & VP Modpack, 4.12.2m & HSFX7.0.3, 4.14.1m
and in Ypack1.2.3. In BAT it does NOT work (checked). Remember
that Ypack allows you to drop the rockets one at a time (if that
was your choice).
Enjoy your flight, and try to come back alive. Good luck!

IL-2 AIR COMBAT OFFLINE COMPETITION
Y2020 - Week 48 / Redeployment to Peleliu
Good morning gentlemen. We finally reached our last mission in
Peleliu, although the campaign is still far from over.
I know these have been difficult weeks, but soon we will be on
dry land. Today's mission is simple, you must go to the vicinity
of Peleliu, bordering the island on its northern part, and be
very attentive to possible Japanese movements. You will complete
your circuit and land in Peleliu. Remember that there are still
teams working to repair and put into operational conditions that
airfield so badly hit by our bombs. Try not to fly over the
adjacent jungle, where heavy fighting is still taking place.
Good luck pilot, see you in Peleliu!
Mission tested in 4.12.2m & 5.3Modact and VP Modpack. This time
the light conditions are correct and there will be no problems
for anyone.
