       Plane of the Week Articles!  Now with it's own board!

       [center]Plane of the Week[/center]
       Founding Member Vonofterdingen has done such an excellent job of
       researching, collecting interesting photographs, test flying in
       game, dredging up important information and little known facts
       that the LEGEND of our 'Plane of the Week' articles has spread
       far and wide!
       The POTW (I think, and am sure many of you also do) that such
       recognition and fame deserves it's very 'own' spotlight, and so
       here it has one now.   ;D
       Vonofterdingen has done a superb job here with dozens of
       wonderful articles (and you might even stumble across a few of
       my 'early' and somewhat sad contributions in here...lol) about
       dozens of wonderful war planes.  All 'in-game' types of course
       since we're all about the IL2 game.  I think at the present time
       we've only got articles about 'flyable' planes but we've still
       got some AI only types in there (the game) and sooner or later
       no doubt they'll likely appear in articles as well.  Eventually
       we hope to cover the entire game...including adding any NEW
       TYPES as new and exciting mods appear.
       Vonofterdingen runs the show here...he's the Editor in Chief
       (the main ram-rod, so-to-speak) here... and his exciting
       articles bring the game to life for us and as long as I've
       personally been in the game, his articles have still managed to
       'add' to my knowledge tremendously...many here-to-fore facts
       unknown, discovered and brought out in the articles themselves
       and/or by comments from one or more of the readers.
       THIS IS THE POINT OF THE ARTICLES!
       CONTRIBUTION!
       Member participation, commentary, and above all----contribution!
       You see a few of us guys...me, the Founding Members, our special
       modders...and so on, CANNOT KEEP THIS SITE RUNNING BY OURSELVES!
       We need participation, commentary, and again above all
       CONTRIBUTION from our many members.  So, read the fine articles
       here or others in the Pilot's Pub and or in the download
       sections and COMMENT.  Post a word or two and contribute
       knowledge that YOU have about whatever you feel like sharing.
       That keeps our site...and the game...moving forward.  Without
       that we are moving backwards into oblivion.   :-\
       So... read up, enjoy Von's hard work, tell  him what you think
       of his articles...share personal knowledge that you have which
       will in turn benefit EVERYONE here and the very game itself.
       BTW, think about what YOU like in the game, what plane you might
       like an article on...and give Von a buzz via PM here, I'm sure
       he'd appreciate feedback and or suggestions.
