         Yahweh and Moses told Jews to kill their apostates, so why all
       focus on Islam?

       Perhaps because no notable Jewish rabbi or citizen actually
       advocates this death? Plus, it was only intended for the time
       when this committee called the 'Beth din' existed and controlled
       Jewish Governments in Biblical times. Since the destruction of
       the second temple in AD 70, this law is no longer valid and so
       isn't implemented, along with most Jews abhorring it as morally
       wrong. Even when it was valid thousands of years ago the killing
       very very rarely happened.
       However, the killing of Muslim apostates is still justified and
       continues to happen to this day
