[LEAKED RUMOR?] I heard a rumor that the script for S9 has a
love triangle between Himari, Baekhyun, and Luhan. If this is
true, the fans are going to lose it. Himari has the most
seniority on set, so she’ll definitely be the "Queen Bee" of the
school. I just hope the newcomers show her proper respect
(hoobae/sunbae vibes).

I am literally SHAKING. I thought the new cast would overshadow
Himari, but that performance just proved why she’s the Queen of
this show. When she hit those lower harmonies while Jiyeon was
doing the main chorus? CHILLS. The chemistry was insane. I
didn't think I'd like the "Duchess" girls, but Jiyeon and Himari
are a power duo.

Can we talk about the technicality of that cover? Lady Gaga
isn't easy to harmonize with because the original is so
synth-heavy, but Himari’s vocal control has improved so much
since the 2007 season. Her stability during the dance break was
10/10. Jiyeon has the "Pop Star" look, but Himari provides the
"Soul." That bridge... “I’m your biggest fan, I’ll follow you
until you love me...” 😭

The way they looked at each other at the end of the song?! If
this doesn't start a "Frenemy" plotline between Hana and
Jiyeon’s character, the writers are wasting a goldmine. Also,
did anyone catch Taecyeon’s face in the audience during the
performance? He looked stunned. SOHAI Season 9 is officially the
best season yet.

I’ll admit it: I was a hater. I thought the K-pop influence was
going to ruin the "theatrical" vibe of SOHAI, but that Paparazzi
cover felt like a Broadway show mixed with a music video.
Himari’s harmonies were so haunting. She didn’t just sing the
backup; she created a whole atmosphere. It’s officially the
"Iconic Performance" of the year.

Look at the synchronization! Himari’s experience shows. Even
though Jiyeon is a trained idol, Himari’s stage presence is
just... different. She knows where the camera is every second.
If they don't release this on the official OST, I’m going to
cry.

The best part was when Himari took the high note at the very end
and Jiyeon did the "Paparazzi" whisper. It gave me goosebumps.
It’s rare to see two female leads actually share the spotlight
instead of trying to out-sing each other. This is the "Passing
of the Torch" moment we needed.

I’m actually shaking and crying right now. Only 14... she’s
literally a child. She’s been filming SOHAI since she was 6
years old as the sister character, and then jumping straight
into the S9 lead role? The schedule must have been brutal.
PLEASE be okay, Himari. We don't care about the show, we just
want you healthy. 😭 #GetWellSoonHimari

I knew something was wrong during the Paparazzi
behind-the-scenes footage. She looked so pale in the dance
practice clips. 14 is way too young to be carrying the weight of
the biggest show in Asia on your shoulders. The industry is so
cruel sometimes. I hope she gets to just be a normal kid for a
while.
