I’ve been watching Himari since she was just the "little sister"
character in 2001. She earned her spot as the face of the 3rd
Gen. But looking at this new cast list... there are SO many
names. Jiyeon? IU? Hyeri? I’m worried Himari is going to get
pushed to the side for these new girls. She’s been the backbone
of the show since 2007, she better stay the female lead!

Agreed, but have you seen the visuals for Duchess? They look
like a real girl group. I heard Jiyeon and Hyeri are going to be
the "rival" characters to Himari’s Hana. If they give them more
musical numbers than Himari, I’m going to riot. Also, can we
talk about Navu? Taecyeon and Luhan are insane. I’m already
shipping Himari/Hana with Taecyeon’s character. #Hamaeon?

I’m skeptical. SOHAI used to be about the struggle of training,
but with all these SM and JYP-style trainees (Baekhyun, D.O.,
Jia), it feels like it’s becoming a giant music video. I hope
they don't ruin Himari’s character development. She’s the only
one left who feels like "Classic SOHAI." If she has to share a
dorm with seven other girls (Duchess), the drama is going to be
Degrassi levels of messy.

Don’t worry! Himari, Sulli, and Nana are the "Trinity." The
producers aren't stupid—they know we’re here for them. But
honestly, IU has an amazing voice and Jiyeon is a great dancer.
If they add them to the performing arts school plot, the talent
level is going to be 100x higher than Gen 2. I’m excited for the
"Duchess" debut episode!
