[RUMOR?]
Someone on the 2ch boards claiming to be an assistant lighting
tech said they had to stop filming for three hours because
Himari wouldn't stop crying even after the director yelled
"Cut." They had to call her mom. The "breakdown" we saw on TV
was actually a censored version of what happened on set.
If this is true, the SOHAI producers are disgusting for airing
this. They are exploiting her mental health for ratings.

The "Main Dancer" chic, the "Ice Queen," the "Italian
Revolution"... it all feels so heavy for a kid. Now they're
making her play a character with an ED? It’s too much. The
"Dumbed Down" arc from April was bad, but this is "Dark SOHAI"
and it’s actually scary.

I’m calling it: Himari was born in the wrong era. That beehive
hairstyle and the winged eyeliner? It’s her best look in ten
years. When the "Velvet Roses" did that synchronized choreo in
the gold sequin dresses, I forgot I was watching a show about a
modern school. She looks like a genuine 1960s movie star.

It’s the "Persian-Mod" look! Because she’s half-Persian, she has
that classic 60s "International Star" vibe—think Anouska Hempel
or Pouri Banayi. Most of the other girls look like they’re
wearing costumes, but Himari looks like she just stepped off a
1966 Vogue cover. The producers finally found a concept that
matches her maturity without "dumbing her down."

Can we talk about the vocals in the "Retro-Pop" track? Since
it’s 60s style, she isn't doing the high-pitched "Idol" voice.
She’s using her lower register, and it’s haunting.
The warm resonance in her voice during the ballad segment...
that is the Himari we’ve been missing. No screaming high notes,
just pure, soulful tone. IU’s unit was cute, but Himari’s unit
had the soul.

[PHOTOSET] Himari as 'The 1960s Muse'
(Imagine several black-and-white edits with grainy film
textures)
Look at her eyes in these close-ups. She has that "Old
Hollywood" sadness. After the diet pill breakdown episode,
seeing her in this classy, elegant role feels like a healing
process for the fans. She looks healthy, she looks expensive,
and she looks like she’s actually having fun with the
"Theatrical" side of the show again.

The "Main Dancer" skills really translated well to the 60s
"Go-Go" and "Dreamettes" style dancing. It’s all about the lines
and the poise. Every move she made was so sharp but graceful.
This episode is definitely going into the SOHAI Hall of Fame.
The "Luhan-antis" are even posting that she looks "respectable"
in this concept. It’s hard to hate on someone who looks like a
literal diamond. 💎

Did you guys see the "Prom" scene with D.O.? He was in a tuxedo
and she was in that baby blue 60s gown. They looked like a
couple from a classic romance film. No "Little Sister" babying,
just two leads looking incredibly sophisticated. This is the
"Hana" we want to see in 2011!

I am staring at the Sony VA website in total shock. We all
thought she was going to be Dr. Kimura! Every interview for the
last three years she’s talked about wanting to study medicine
and how she "didn't fit" the idol world. Was she trolling us the
whole time? Or did Sony just offer her an insane contract? I’m
confused, but also... SHE’S DEBUTING SOLO!! :o

Sony VA (Visual Arts) is a massive deal. They don't sign
"idols"; they sign artists. This explains why her vocals were so
different in the "Retro-Pop" episodes. Sony probably saw the
Circus and Paparazzi clips and realized she’s a global-tier
performer. If she’s under Sony, expect high-budget music videos
and real music, not just "SOHAI" fluff.
