A chart of retrograde movement. Strophados hung from above,
swinging through the motion, a slight spin to mimic the first
planet's path through the sky. A breeze, called in with openings
set along the ley line's flow. Orange, of course, everywhere -
his robes, the tapestries encircling the sanctum, the symbols
painted into the mirror. The mirrors, really, a small one kept
in his pocket held aloft to reflect the larger one behind him.
The hours tick by, the minutes, the seconds, and then the light
of the planet itself shines through.
       Perfect.
As it all comes together, the Gauntlet cracks, then peels, then
re-weaves itself around the new Gateway for his Sanctum.
Stepping through, the mage takes a quick look around, making
sure no spirits had dared to creep into his territory during the
few days he'd allowed things to lapse. The small house has a
fairly direct reflection in the Shadow, the better to keep it
from drawing attention, but Resonance builds up with Tass around
a Hallow, so one can never be too safe. Especially with how
College Town's choir has been expanding. They don't seem to have
any problem slinking into the suburbs uninvited.
Before too long, he's confident that there's no trouble, so he
steps outside. How far will he need to go this time before
something attacks him? That's part of the fun, isn't it?

She was hunting. This was not far from the territory she had
claimed as her own but more and more unfriendly spirits had been
coming tot he area. She was in wolf form, and the man would
notice her before she noticed him. She was in her uran form, a
huge tundra looking wolf with white and grey fur and pale blue
eyes. When she did see him she seemed surprised her ears perking
forward, one paw liftings off the ground as she sniffed the
       air.
He was not a spirit, most definitely not a spirit. For a split
second she debated on her actions, and then shook herself into
her human form. She crossed her arms over her chest as she
       watched him.
"You are no spirit." she stated the obvious. "How did you get
       here?"

Solomon's head turns quickly, his pocket mirror still clutched
tightly in his hand, when he notices the wolf heading towards
him, only for her to shift a few seconds later into a more
clearly humanoid form. The Supernal overlays his own sight out
of reflex, and he gives the unfamiliar woman a momentary glare.
Ah, that's a bad pull right there.
Given the shapeshifting, the few spiritual symbols floating
around her make it clear enough what he's run into; local
Awakened are usually given the primer of "So you've fucked up
and drawn the attention of a werewolf" when they start learning
       spirit magic.
"This is my territory," he claims. No, the primer does not say
'puff up your chest against them.' He wasn't entirely paying
attention, okay? "So I have every right to be here," he claims.
That likely doesn't answer her question.
That mirror is clutched even tighter, and he's watching her in
the same way one keeps an eye on a slowly advancing... well,
wolf, in the wild, on a hair-trigger of some kind.

"Is it now?" She looked around while not completely taking her
eyes off the man before her as she looked for signs or other
marking of someone claiming a territory. It was awfully close to
her own, but far enough away to be considered separate. "I see
no marks as it has been claimed." She uncrossed her arms,
putting her hands on her hips and shifting her feet apart just
       slightly.
"Who are you? How did you get here? You are not Uratha, you are
       not spirit..."

Solomon eyes the werewolf for a moment as she looks around.
Taking a brief moment to do what just looks like glaring, the
mage then suddenly points over to the house he just came from.
On it are symbols in First Tongue, reflecting his Shadow Name,
"Solomon," clearly legible to someone with an understanding of
       spirit speech.

"Well you didn't look very hard, did you? It's right there,

Thrice-Great Hermetics. Mages, backed by the planetary courts of
the Shadow, so I have as much right to be here as you do."
Now is when he hopes really hard that the Uratha might actually
give half a crap about any of that. "And who are you, then?"

She followed the gesture he made and looked at the house behind
him. The symbols were there as clear as day, as he said. She
wasn't quite sure how she had missed them the first time. She
sighed and visibly changed her stance to something a little less
       threatening.
She tilted her head tot he side as he announced who, and what he
was. She had heard of mages, but this was her first time ever
meeting one. She had no idea whay anything after his name
       actually meant.
       "The planetary courts?"
"You can call me Dreamwalker. Iminir and Ithaeur. It seems your
       territory borders mine."

Solomon relaxes somewhat as she seems to buy and accept that.
Damnit, now he's going to have to put effort into upkeeping
that, isn't he? That's the hardest part of a lie, the
       maintenance.
"Yes, the planetary courts. Those of the astrological
correspondences, the true classical ones from before Sleepers
managed to screw it up," he tells her. "They come from beyond
the Earth's Shadow, and so one needs to have a grasp on the
sympathetic affinities to deal with them." Some part of his tone
seems to heavily imply, but be unwilling to say, 'something
       werewolves don't do.'

       --- End Quote ---
Taking a moment to turn off his 'I know best' tone a bit, he
clears his throat. Iminir, Ithaeur... the words mean something
in the spirit tongue, and he knows the wolves follow the signs
of the moons and various totem spirits, but the actual
organization and implications of all of that, well, let's say
he'd need to work hard to properly fake it.
"Dreamwalker. How literal is that? Do you actually have some
means of traveling dreams, or is it just a metaphorical sort of
thing?" he asks about the part he might actually have some
knowledge in. "But yes, it seems so. I hope that won't be an
       issue..."
       Please don't be an issue.

Her eyes narrowed slightly at his lecturing tone, but at the
same time he could tell she was curious and actually listening
to what he was saying with interest. She didn't want to admit
she didn't really know anything about these planetary courts,
but at the same time she wanted to know more. "How did you find
       out about them?"
"I do have the means to travel Dreams yes. The Harsathil, The
worlds dream. The Uratha do not dream as others do."
She tilted her head to the side as he asked his question about
their territory being next to one another. "It does not seem so,
at this time, as long as you patrol it properly."
"So is it through your connection to these planetary courts that
you are able to enter the Hisil?"

He raises a brow as she asks how he found out about them. "I was
born into a dynasty of magic users, a bloodline if you will, and
so inherited the knowledge and ability of those who came before
me," he explains. A nice way of saying 'mommy taught me.'
The talk about 'the world dream,' though, catches his immediate
interest. She can't mean the Dreaming Earth, can she? "What do
you mean by that? You don't dream as others do?" he asks,
       stepping forward slightly.
Oh dear, the mage's Obsession has been tickled. Spiritual beings
with a connection to the Astral? She's suddenly going to find
him very hard to get rid of.
"The other planets dream too, you know. Reflections of the
courts. But they seem barren to us. Like literal sleeping
planets. There's more to them, though, I'm certain, waiting to
be discovered," he realizes he's already started to veer off
       from the topic.
Clearing his throat, he takes a second to remember her
question. "Yes and no. If I'm being evasive, yes, if I'm being
truthful, not entirely." What does that answer count as, if not
       evasive?

She nodded a small smile playing across her lips when he said he
was born into dynasty of magic users. "My mother claims she is
from a dynasty of uratha, so i understand." It was clear from
her tone that she didn't actually believe her mother. It wasn't
like any future children she had would be uratha just because
       she was.
She didn't step back as he stepped forward holding her ground.
"When uratha dream or dreams are more vivid. We don't ream as

"The Harsathil is said to be formed from the thoughts and urges
of the denizens of the Hisil."
She looked up when he mentioned the other planets and that they
