Just Talking (April Read)

After saying he would watch his nephew for the night Joe sits in
the chair as hes on the floor playin with his toys. He watches
him and helps with a few toys to set up for his cars as his
nephew stands beside him keeping a hand on him and Joe fixes a
couple that had something come off of them and hands them to
him before lookin at the time. He gets him settled and to bed
walking back downstairs and sits after putting a movie in and
stays quiet a few seconds finally putting the movie on pause and
looks at the floor a minute thinking and then looks at her.
Joe: I don't think theres any mistake hes boss when it comes to
things. Hell I gotta ask to even with with you guys and if he
says no he means it.
He laughs
Joe: Listen ive been thinking for a few days. I cant go back
and redo how things were when the wedding happened I lost my
cool and it was nothing but a fight on a night where there
shouldn't of been and never shoulda happened especially on that
night shoulda been different. Actually a couple things have
been on my mind but one I aint bringing up but this one I am.
When your better and able to why don't you pick a place you
wanna go to and we'll get away for a few days and enjoy this
thing the way it should be. I aint gonna spend it fighting
cause ive had enough of that the one time before I wanna enjoy
this ride. So when your able and want to you tell me where you
would like to go and we'll get away for a few days and have some
fun hang out whatever you would have in mind.
He looks at her
Joe: Ok fine ill bring the other forward cause im being told
to in my head. Listen the other aint gonna happen any time soon
im pretty sure of it I mean your young and if something don't
go right I aint gonna be the one to put some little one
through the wonders or left trying to explain to friends
later if it doesn't work. Ive never actually thought about it
before not even back then but someday I would love to have a
real family I don't know how to put it cause ive never thought
about it. Im the kinda guy if things happen then they happen
and if it does cool if not then that's what im dealt with. I
aint asking you for that cause I honestly don't know where
you stand and I don't truly know myself. Plus like I said your
young who knows what can happen one day you can just say hey
it aint gonna work and that's it. I mean I hope not but if
you feel that way someday I cant change that. I cant make you
stay with me if you don't wanna I love you but I would never
make you stay if you weren't happy. I guess its just crazy
thoughts in my head right now that will pass through cause I
actually now the odds right now of being able to one day or
not.
He looks away a second then back
Joe: Anyway forget about that .. Just crazy goin on in the old
head.
He laughs a little
Joe: So anyway where would you wanna go when your able and
better? Its your choice ill leave it up to you and ill make it
happen just tell me where.
He looks at her[/center]

She looks up at him.
April: First of all... you don't have to worry about me leaving.
I love you to much to do that. I would have to have a real good
reason to even think it. So don't worry... not gonna happen. As
for kids, I love kids. I would like to have some one day. When
we are both ready. First I gotta get well. Then we can talk
about that step. If you really want a little one of your own
then I think we can make it happen.
She smiles.
April: Yeah... I try not to think about the wedding night. Not
something I want to remember. Still hurts like hell to think
about. But as for a trip... well there is a couple of places I
would like to go. One I would like to go to Paris with you. I
would also like one day to go out to the beach somewhere oh and
I would love to see your homeland one day. I think it would be
fun. But for now... I guess you can decide what would be best.

Joe: Yeah I know I wish I could make that night be redone but
I cant. But I can try and make it be pushed back by making
something better happen.
He smiles
Joe: Ok you wanna do all three? Then they can be done im pretty
sure that all three can be done. Whatever order you want them
done in it can be done ill make sure of it. It doesn't matter
what you wanna do first it will be done that way I promise
you that. Either thing would be fun.
He looks down again and then back at her.
Joe:]As for the other I don't want you to think I m trying to
rush that or push that I was just sayin maybe one day. It
would be cool but somethings change you don't know when they
will but sometimes they do without warning even. I hope they
never do cause not even the first time has it been as real for
me than now and it aint some phoney line or feel good moment its
true. Ive said it before nothing has felt more real most guys
notice one thing with women to me of the eyes aint real
either is the girl. You proved a lot in five minutes than any
other has its cool maybe that's what they saw I don't know
Corina's the one that made sure things wnet the way she wanted.
He laughs.
Joe: Im actually glad she did .. Cause I don't think I could be
settled this fast always said I wouldn't be again but it
happened. I don't regret it one bit of it. So tell ya what you
wanna do all three then its a deal all three can be done ill
make that happen for ya[/center]
